Optimization is over?

So the game will go on like this ?
another patch will be applied , and I’m not seeing anything about optimization …
So IMC , when I can do a dungeon without falls Fps ? It’s not nice when you are a class that needs to change weapons in the ALT + Z to cast some kind Musket skills at the time of exchange of gun locks from 2 to 5 seconds … Could you tell me if it will still be implemented more optimization ???

When did optimization even start? Lol

People bitch but i never have fps problems :confused: and at most only 30% of my gpu will be used at a single time… But lag is a problem when bot spammers are crazy on channel 1

I get long pauses sometimes when opening the map which is terribly annoying. Channel 1 is just a PC destroyer…

It’s funny honestly. I played FFXIV with Direct x 11 running around cities with 60 FPS and a crap ton of players all swarmed together.

This game? Enter channel 1 and even NASA’s computers would lag.

yup, even super computer wouldn’t stand a chance against the might of Tree of Savior. it shall destroy every computer and sh*t on it. hahahaha

I do not go on the CH 1 is not because lag problems. It is because of the bots spamming the chat and the worst, sending me whisper even blocked

I world boss all the time always 50-70fps

When GVG FPS very low sometime 0.1-0.4 yes!!! 0.1-0.4 not 1-4

Tjis game was never finished development so it have bad optimization and net code .
From the look of it imc dont going to fix it as they dont know how.

They already did the optimization they wanted to do. They explained it in detail in a dev blog and finalized and applied it like 3 weeks ago.

They commented on it later on and said that they the update might not have fixed all situations.

I think most of the issues players have now are either:

  1. Bad server reaction times. I don’t have these issues myself, but I think only certain servers are affected.

  2. Lag when many players are around (like when fighting world boss).

I think the first could only be fixed when they found a better server and the second is probably never fixed, there’s a limit to how many optimizations you can do, you can’t miraculously turn 5 FPS into 60 FPS.

I should still be able to open my map and visit channel 1 without my computer begging and pleading with me to close the game.

I still find it hilarious how they planned for “Guild vs. Guild” PVP which can end up having a lot of players fighting each other on screen and the game has ZERO optimization for lots of people on the screen.

Just a ‘little bit’ of an oversight.

Somebody doesn’t understand sarcasm. We all already know about the failed attempts on “optimization”. Helped a few, ignored the majority.

I’m just pointing out that there’s no need to be sarcastic. They can’t work miracles as I said. Be happy with what you got.

Why not say thank you for the optimization they did rather than complain all the time? If I were the developer I’d totally lose motivation from doing anything for iToS just by looking at these forums full of unthankful people.

If I were developing this game I’d fix the most common complaints that people have been complaining about for since closed beta rather than skirting around the issues ENDLESSLY.

How can anyone have faith in IMC when they seem completely disconnected from the community’s concerns?

That optimization helped only slightly but it wasn’t even the primary issue. They fixed draw calls. Draw calls only clutter up PCs with low GPU performance AKA mid or low-end PCs. It was good optimization for them but the issues with high-end PCs still exist. With those problems still existing and all we got was a mid to low-end PC optimization fix we’ve assumed IMC has washed their hands with ‘optimization’ now.

Which should actually solve everyone’s MUH FPS issues since the game only runs on a single core. The Particles Optimization helped a tad, and that’s what it was supposed to do, but they said that it was only the start of optimization. Not sure why everyone ignores that or if it’s simply to whine so much they want a second coming of Kim.

But hey. Atleast it ain’t Mighty No. 9.

Huh? My impression is the complete opposite. Seems to be me like they always try to listen to the community and do updates based on what the community was.

I see it like this: I’m the developer. I get feedback from the international team that player complain a lot about lag. I start to investigate why there is lag and what could be done. I have the brilliant idea how to improve the draw graphic code. I invest two weeks of work into it and when I notice it really improved the game I proudly present it in a past. A week later I see my patch applied to the international server and eagerly visit forums to see happy players complimenting on the effort I put into this the past weeks, but instead I only see complaints about how the patch is not good enough, that there is still lag and a lot of worse insults I don’t want to quote here. Not even a single thank you for the great update thread.

Yeah, I certainly don’t want to be dev for IMC.
