Open multiple shops question

Hi!

Just a quick question, is it possible to open multiple shops with multiple characters in the same account?
For example: I have an Alchemist, a Squire and a Barbarian in the same account. Can I log in my Alchemist, open a Gem Roasting shop, log out, log in into my Squire, open a Repair shop, log out and then log in my Barbarian and play with it while my Alchemist and Squire stay “online” with their shops opened making money?
What if I close the game, do they remain “online” with their shops opened?

You can have only one offline shop.

IIRC you can open another shop but once you logout the last opened shop will stay. Thus you can open buy-in shop, logout and use squire shop for repairs. If you close squire shop before logging out again, buy-in shop will stay open. Otherwise squire shop will stay.
