Open beta estimation?

instead of talking about close beta and getting RARE beta key, I wanna know more about open beta of ToS.
I don’t get any much information about ToS in releasing open beta (probably open beta it self not yet scheduled?) since the source information are from Korea and you know not all of us can understand Korean language.

since its still under development, I guess the open beta it self would likely TBA in 2016 or if lucky it will be before the end of 2015. well I’m not sure about it cause I’m not developer and that’s just a guess.

do you guys have any information?

Open Beta still isn’t scheduled, but if it’s a guess that you want, it’s highly unlikely to be here before December.

no news for obt yet. dunno abt Korea, international OBT very likely 2016 though

there was estimation by fans and also by some devs(forgot who) that rough estimation is early 2016 for actual open beta… but kinda depends on how the CBT goes, if it goes well, early release maybe even this december bwahahaha XD

Well it depends on if there will be more closed betas too or not. I dunno btw most games that I played with went from closed beta to open in a week or a month at worst but if devs says otherwise then I guess it won’t happen to ToS this easily.

you gotta get through closed beta first before we get to open beta.

Normally after the last CBT, an OBT start after few weeks. Based on the feedbacks from the 3rd KOR CBT and International CBT dev will fix and adjust for the, hopefully, last CBT. Probably will be in October/November, than can go for an open beta, 2-4 weeks after last CBT, and finally the official launch few days after the OBT. That’s what normally happen. I hope this is the last CBT but watching the video a 4th is inevitable…

Depends. If there are thousands of bugs then it will take some time until the next beta (not just a few weeks imo) to fix all the issues, update the client and release the open beta.

This isn’t the last CBT. Its the first CBT international. But it is the last KOREAN cbt. Big difference.

they try to do atleast one beta per season so about 6 months from august probably.

if there is not much problem on the international server, i think we probably can get OBT same time as KToS

Id say December/January. Since this is the last korean cbt, its gonna take a bit to read the feedback and make the changes according to it, along with translation, even if sped up by the fans. This iCBT is probably to test connection and such and read the feedback on it. After this, they might do an open CBT to get the final checks on pings and extra bugs and then its probably OBT.
As much as Id like to think they will take in our feedback on gameplay, I find that unreasonable, since they are already listening to the korean testers.

I doubt it will be any time soon. I don’t want it to be rushed. I rather wait and get a good game than get it fast and get a game full of bugs.
