I can create only 3 character, so my pet steal one of my character.

Yes, pet takes a char slot 
You can assign your companion to any of your other characters, so in a way its more than just a pet, it’s a companion and have as much right as any other person for his own room in the household.

Sorry, buy pet isn’t a character and don’t help you that much. So it is a shame pet steal one of your slots.

If you really feel that way, you can go ahead and delete the companion and replace it with a new character instead.
