i got empty whispers all the time ! some of it are even spammed until (9) dunno whether its a bug or a ghost 
been getting that a lot lately. gets irritating when i have to chat during a dungeon run since that empty whisper gets in the way.
it’s probably someone you blocked (maybe a bot?) that’s tryna pm you
Even more insulting when the Whisper says it’s from YOURSELF. (;“A”)/
How do I block myself?
I suggest DLing the Addon that makes whispers not auto-swap to whisper tab; since that’s a really annoying ‘feature.’
I’m about 100% sure these are spam bots trying to get an add-on to work that automatically whispers people.
This was just the example of the last couple hours here, 1 tell. 3 days ago though? I had 14 whispers from 2 blank people and 1 saying it was from myself lol.
This is basically making it so no one is going to bother to look at their whisper notifications further decaying the already non-existent social environment in this game.
It’s a GM asking if you’re a bot. Reply as soon as possible.
I played around 6 hours yesterday. Got atleast 20 messages from 2 blank persons and atleast 10 from these bots that always have weird names for example “wfotamra” from 2 or 3 of them. That is getting on my nerves, because for some reason when I click on the “Normal” Channel chat, it automatically shows me their messages. I can only rest from this when I’m in shout, party or guild chat.IMC HAS to implement a feature that if you block someone that this person can’t contact you anymore at all. Or a feature that no one can whisper to you at all, when someone has to tell you something they should tell it in normal chat. And if you block someone, you shouldn’t be able to get messages nor see the message boxes in game. I HATE IT that bots are standing exactly in front of the market and can’t even see what I’m typing into the box. HUGE FLAW.
Please correct me if I’m being wrong or add something to my text when I forgot something.

Yes, of course I said it too harshly, because it’s a normal reaction to this. Normally, I’m not blunt at all. The message boxes are showing over your actual window in which you are buying stuff etc. if a lot of bots would stand in front of a shop, you wouldn’t be able to buy anything anymore. So please tell me, why shouldn’t I spurt it out? It is a gamebreaking freature. No one can do anything with the shops, not enhancing their weapons no quick teleport to orsha or klaipeda and not even a campfire.

I avoid channels 1-5 of klaipeda/orsha and have since stopped getting these. Once they catch your character there they’ll keep whispering you for hours.

when I receive such PM… I always remember those fcking people who hand you some worthless brochures on the malls and other crowded places. . . but this one is a version where they don’t hand it to you instead they stick it on your back.

theyre the spirits of bots who got banned. they’re trying to convey a message from the other side
