Tree of Savior Forum

OH IMC when oh WHEN

When will we be able to enjoy Tree of Savior without Latency Issue?

When will we be able to enjoy Tree of Savior without FPS Lag?

When will we be able to enjoy Swordsman Class?

When will we be able to enjoy PVP Arena?

When will we be able to enjoy farming monsters / mobbing / solo grinding?

I’m always looking forward to the updates every week. All I see are tweaks to skills and quests. The so called “optimization” ain’t working for me. Random crashes and lag spikes all the time. This game has a crappy game engine that needs to be fixed / replaced.

NEW COSTUMES EVERY WEEK! Who gives a bloody fuk. I don’t need costumes. We need stability.

The fact that you didn’t ask when you could play with other people again certainly worries me.

By the time they fix the things I asked, people would come back anyway.

It will probably stay as it is now. Learn to live with it. Game is perfectly playable for me.

Very subjective question. I’m sure there are people that already enjoy playing it.

Most likely after kToS merge, so sometime in August.

Again a very subjective question. I personally do enjoy farming monsters, mobbing and solo grinding.

1 + 2) Maybe check your PC and your internet connection? I have 0 lag and 0 fps drop now. I am using a 965M nvidia geforce. I also have a laptop that has a 660 which does have fps drop. My friend has a 1080 Geforce and ToS runs super smooth for him. Tree of Savior really needs an optimal system to play.

3 + 4) These should be soon at the end of this month when we merge with Korea’s patch.

  1. You might want to elaborate more on this question. I don’t have any problem with it.

As for optimization, what’s the spec of your PC? What’s your tracert?

Its a Core i5 2310 Sandy Bridge. 8GB of RAM. GeForce GTX650 128bit. Its a very old PC but it can still run MAD MAX, Battlefield 3/4 etc in Ultra settings.

As for the latency issues (Telsiai) its been around for awhile. used to have 80ms now its 300~400. Its even 200+ if you ping their servers (Telsiai)

Yeah, sadly you will have fps problem with that PC. I can say that by experience with my 660. Like I said, my 965M runs TOS without a problem.

My PC being able to handle the said games smoothly yet can’t on Tree of Savior is a total BS. And I’m not the only one having these issues.

Path of Exile = No problem
Mad Max = No problem
Granado Espada = No problem
Blade and Soul = No problem
Starcraft II = No problem
World of Tanks = No problem
Mortal Kombat X = No problem
DotA 2 = No problem
Tree of Savior = FPS drop when you open map / world map etc.

My rig ain’t that shitty. This game has serious issues that the dev’s just ignore.

That has nothing to do with your pc, it’s the ping/latency to the server.
The longer it takes for you to recieve information about the worldmap from the server the longer it will freeze when opening the worldmap/map.

Ive had this issues even with 80ms. Specially when you do it on the lower area of Alemeth Forest.

Funny thing : When TOS was new many people begged for IMC to implement costumes and cash items in the cash shop. So in a way, they’re doing one thing what the players wanted : more costumes, more cash items.

I understand your frustration. However, your logic isn’t exactly valid. Not all games are made the same, there is no universal standards that has been set for online gaming to run on all PCs. My laptop can run everything you said smoothly and it can run TOS smoothly on max setting on all resolutions. I don’t get FPS drops. Not even when there are full of people on my screen.

Not trying to defend IMC, but it really isn’t their responsibility to make sure their game runs on all PCs.

when your computer cant handle TOS but people playing it on IOS

Have played it on Android similar to this setup:

The problem about latency is real, everyone suffers from it but not everyone realizes they are due to how low their base latency is.
If you are supposed to get 10ms but thanks to the ■■■■ server and game net coding you get 30ms, you will be fine.
But if you are supposed to get 100ms, you’ll get over 300ms and that’s when it get’s shitty.

Really depends of your internet, for SILUTE players it will never be good, because this game needs a very high quality internet, for some countries it is very easy and common to have one, for others like Brazil is barely impossible have a good internet.

10 ~ 100 ms = Playable
100 ~ 150ms = Playable with little delays and almost normal DPS
150 ~ 200 ms = Started to notice more delays, positions bugs, rollbacks and my DPS started to become notable worse.
200+ = Not playable at all, barely half of DPS on basic atacks.

When they complete rewrite the client, or never.

The Ktos patches will help a lot, but don’t change the swordman situation, we still gona have some overpowered classes.

Probably in about some weeks from now. But don’t get too happy, IMC is really slow for doing stuff.

The PVE is just so boring and the bosses are really just giants pushbags, the game really fail on this one.
