Hey, just so everyone knows, IMC sent out a CBT1 response survey, of which is filled with a handful of important questions that would greatly help them get a better judge on what needs to be worked on with ToS. I’m making a thread about this to increase awareness of the survey, as well as inform people to check their spam folders as that’s where I found my email for the survey.
It’s open for a little under a week, so make sure you take the time to fill it out!

Yeah thanks for the info. Using gmail makes it so that I don’t really see my spam folder and I’m too lazy to look around to see if I can change that.

They make me so paranoid that they’re going to IP block my country soon…

I’m actually excited it’s OBT next instead of a second CBT. I feel that the game will truly shine when the players are able to make constant progress on their characters.
I didn’t receive an e-mail and I was in the CBT, and one of the top 250 leveled players. Strange. Not in spam, not in trash, no where to be found. When was it sent/what was the title of the e-mail?

Yeah, that’s a good way to look at it. Though, I wish we would get one more CBT so we could clean up the first 10 hours of translations. Really put them into context and add a little polish. At least get crystal mines cleaned up and the text bug on the boss spawns fixed.

Thank goodness for the ToS Digest, i probably would have over-looked this without meaning to- as some of us folk have quite busy lives (at least i do) and rarely do i even check my spam folder anymore as the most important e-mails that i have flagged go straight to my smartphone and that usually alerts me.
EDIT: I really feel like this Survey doesn’t offer all the various alternatives to situations that could have very-well and “Did” take place during my personal experience, leaving me with only the option to actually pick an option that isn’t even true in my case. -Due to the nature of the Survey structure it requires all fields toggled unless specified.
Basically the survey presumes that everyone filling it out actually experienced everything the survey lists; which is a bit discouraging to see from my point-of-view; but i will just have to hope that enough of the data taken from all the other surveys will provide the necessary feedback to polish the game appropriately.

I’m pretty surprised at how the survey turned out, especially towards the translations. I thought that the translations were pretty wonky and the majority of the text had really bad flow, not much at all like how ‘fluent’ English is supposed to read.
When people say they had ‘No problem understanding the game’, is it just that they’re satisfied with the bare minimum to play? The plot wasn’t very coherent and neither was the text for the sub-quests, but apparently more than 80% of the testers had no problem with the translations.
