Nuaele card tooltip

Quick question: Nuaele card description is correct ? +10 mdef for a lvl10 card ?

Thanks.

10% each. I have 3 equipped, I checked every time.

Thank you @2020202020

equipped in your archer?

…to my Chap-Inqui, why would it be on my Archer? @_@

Why not? Please explain. Just curious. <_<

Well you have a point, but his response to me sounded like he was mocking me or something (a bait perchance).

For my purposes, seeing as this person (who I do not know) know that I have an Archer, is basing his/her remark only on that one bit of fact.

Needless to say I’ve always had Clerics so they would logically go there first, before I go ahead and decide to pump M.Def on my Archer.

(since the remark was directed at me, this is an answer based on my actual characters and what I would have on them, what you do with yours is none of my business)

nonono, i don’t mean to provoke you. I only play archer and i know you have archer too (you wrote about qs3 running shot solo farming dungeon130, remember?). As a fellow archer, i just curious whether to use nualle or not. Please accept my apology.

No prob. I just avoid triggering people because they always come up with ways to say that I’m preaching something.

To answer your question, no, I am not currently using Nuaele card(s) on my one and only Archer. I probably never will because it has Rogue1 and practically requires being decked out in full Werewolf cards.

Disclaimer: Once again, this is my character. You people can do what you want with yours.

yeah, my archer is actually rogue1 too which is destined to use werewolf, but magic mob is very dangerous and the fastest way to increase mdef is nualle. Will 600mdef makes huge difference in lv 330 map? or is it flat 300 dmg reduce? my mdef is 300 atm.

I have 0 idea on the actual computation unfortunately.

Let’s tag an expert @greyhiem may have an answer for you?

No difference. Unless you are hitting pass 1.2k else they still hit as much.

TSC> buffed mobs magic still hit me 3-4k for 20 level above - > i have 750 magic def on my archer. Lower magic attack maps still hit me about 1.5k

(300 mdef is about 4~5kish) not much of a big difference tbh. Unless you want to push pass 2.2k ( with emeguard shields etc) mobs will hit you 1 then.

IIRC, someone said aias+2x glass bracelet make a huge difference. But i could be wrong.

I was just thinking that magic usually hits my archer pretty hard so I’d put it there… but archer is my main so… same logic. XD

naw. Also that’s physical defense for aias.

I had a pelt at 2.2kmdef (2k with guardian pdef) (8 nualee) with diel tower shield they hit me 1 at 290.

Those mages normally hit about 3k on my archer. (599 magic def)(no enchant)
You can count as bringing 1.6k mdef will mitigate about 3k total of magic attack damage.

so technically 100 mdef = near 150 damage reduction. --> 300 = 450

Also do note If you over level (level gap of the mobs and you like 330 visiting 280 zones) they do deal reduce damage to you. Same applies the reverse when you are under.

So go figure unless you can jump via a thousand. else the defense spec additional is not relative and pretty much wasted if you shift a few pieces here and there.

additional 300mdef won’t help that much anyway. Since you are a rouge just go for the one shot kill or CC them instead would be more practical.

Mean while it’s more practical to get higher defense/mdef spec via plate/cloth.
(nualee only works well if you are stacking mdef + if you are intending to wear cloth when verusing magic mobs).

p.s if lolopanther/high spec leather armor have 0 crit rate or bonus i will stick to using plate for general and cloth on high magic area.

very detailed explanation. thank you, kind sire.
bidding farewell to my nualles

Sir can you tell me if skills that raise mdef such as barrier/resist elements/pardoner buff are also increased by nuaele card ?

you avoid triggering people? what happens if someone says something you disagree with then LOL

nuaele card is bugged and is also mistranslated like 20% of all the cards, it gives % instead of flat defense which the physical card gives.

you have a 50/50 chance itll get nerfed or the physical card will get buffed

Highly the flat defense one will get buffed ( or they will introduce a new card that add % defenses)

whichever the case we can only wait and see. For now (there are too many items that add flat defense as compare to mdef as well) so… i dunno seems like a little balance @_@…
