Not to be offense, I think some players are worse than IMC

IMC makes a tons of change recently (Skill, stat, gears Balance. Bugs, Reset Events)
I deeply appreciate all these changes made by there staffs that finally they make a right decision.
As far as the changes made, I SEE NO ANY SINGLE COMPLIMENT from our players.

Second, when those bugs are beneficial to their builds, and earlier renewal patch is set,
Those players started to BLAME THE FIX FOR SOLVING A BUG THAT YOU BUILD AROUND.
It is a very selfish and toxic acts on those group of players.

And now, the DPK incident,
I think they made an excellent judgement on those exploiters,
even further punishment should have made in my opinion.

I saw many posts claiming for compensation in every single chance when accident occur.
And some of the players have no shame on their selfish and intolerant actions.

While you are blaming for IMC customer service, I think some players should reflect their attitude or personality,
are you really the one who deserves a good game environment? Or is it the environment you made yourself?

That’s it

No one deserves anything. IMC, however, is a business. Therefore, whether their customers deserve things or not, it’s up to IMC to either make them happy or accept the criticisms and lost revenue that comes as a result of their failure to do so. That’s how capitalism and a country of free speech rolls.

It’s a business not a friendship. Don’t get it twisted.

Yeah. Most of it is on forums, though. This place has been/is quite toxic, whether it be an effect of the past’s game issues or just the general playerbase.
Most of the playerbase is overly competitive, taking differing opinions waaaay too personally.

tl;dr Forums is usually a massive dumpster-fire.
It’s kinda just how it is, at this point.

That’s how mmorpg has became, mixture of different background peoples especially recent influx. Many peoples doesn’t understand ‘abnormal behaviour’, they cannot justify that is a bug.

But nobody compliment is very wrong, in fact there are a lot if you willing find.j

As a self sustain player, i never bother those things and still having fun with many like minded in-game friends. Even we know there is a bug, we never bother it or take advantage.

Probably most of those who complained are :

  • did the exploit and got punished, acted like a kid and put a tantrum.

  • didn’t do the exploit or did not know about the bug and got punished, even with compensation, still puts out a tantrum.

  • did not played for a while and did not know anything about the said incident and just made this an opportunity to ride on the rage and gather support or make a mockery of a system that he’s not familiar with.

  • a new player to mmorpg genre, probably didn’t have much time playing and just wants to whine about how poorly designed the game mechanics are. Probably wants a moba type or fps type game.

While not everything should be blamed and reflect a company, the playerbase proved how any improvements or quality will not be appreciated and will just be ignored, while any mistake the company makes will result in a revolt of tantrums and cries by the playerbase. IMC needs to spoon fed them and yet they do not feel any gratitude and say thank you, it’s like a spoiled brat raised by moba, fps and boob twitch streams :joy:

Or better mechanics for this MMO maybe?

It is hard to regain the lost trust. It was opposite before, when those forums were full of: “Open beta was just a wrong wording”, “Nexon P2W stuff”, “Tokens and restrictions will never come to iTOS”, “kTOS P2W cubes, good we don’t have it”.

Now even if IMC do some good work, remaining playerbase won’t react instantly, but if they’ll block players as a “preemptive measure” for IMC’s fault … what do you expect?

Anyway, I just

Compliments exist for the changes.

Forums are agreeably a dumpster fire.

Been lurking them lately since I have nothing better to do when I’m at my computer during this ban and some people have been taking it to heart. This game’s forums specifically are worse than what people usually assume of redditors, and that’s not just the people who got ban’d. Even the other people lording it over them are equally bad, if not occasionally worse.

I don’t know how the online community got that way, but the in-game shout-chat community hasn’t been much better from my experience either.

If it weren’t for the skills/combat feeling REALLY good (man, hitting a crit schism or pistol shot is Kreygasm), I probably wouldn’t have bothered investing as much time as I have in ToS at all.

No one did the exploit, the exploit was present, the game was broken to the core and the simple fact of playing would result in drops regardless of what it was, the only option was not play.

Honestly, it’s IMC’s fault people took advantage of the DPK glitch.
They’re banning players due to the fact they couldn’t code in things properly.

Imo, It’s IMC’s oversight to release the game with a glitch. However, they do recognise their error, proceeded to fix it promptly and deal with the situation in the way they deem the least of all the evils, which is affecting the least amount of players while still keeping the servers running. And they are compensating those accounts which are affected while the investigation is going on.

All they ask for is some time to investigate into the accounts, is this something really hard pressed for us to even give?

Or would you rather they choose to do nothing about it?
