So I am completely new and just joined on the 10th of March.
1 hour after the server maintenance finished, I logged on and did quests at Tenat Forest and then went to Tenat Church at level 30.
I was there for 1 and a half hours grinding to find out that my experience bar didn’t rise at all. After some testing around I found out only monsters within 5 levels above me only gave me experience (didn’t test on levels below me).
I was in a party with players in the 50-60 level range but they weren’t even in Tenat forest or Tenat Church.
Even after disbanding I couldn’t gain experience from mobs more than 5 levels above me.
I find this so unfair as I worked so hard defeating those monsters Solo at Tenat Church especially and also defeated the Unknocker Solo only to find my efforts were practically in vain.
It especially took more effort because I’m a priest doing a full support route
Yo only gain exp killing mob 5 lvls obove and below you, for EACH level outside that you lose 5% exp, so if you kill a mob 10LVL above you, you just gain 75% of the exp that the mob give
I gained no experience, I was keeping tabs on the percentages after awhile and it only rose when I defeated Mobs within 5 levels above me
