[NOT]Endgame weapon for my chap/pd2

Help me out experienced saviors!
I got my pract on the char yesterday and i am thnking of getting a weapon. At first glance it seems easy, Vienarazis Mace.
BUt then i found some posts about the hg weapons and checked stats.

At transcend 4 the blue 315 mace has 2032matk while viena has 2307 at the same transcend. Anyway if i invest the pract in shards i can get a higher transcend and eventually higher dmg with the blue one. Affording the orange is far away for me, not even an option.

The main point is that i only lose a bit of silver destoying the blue one for shards once that time far in the future maybe came while i lose a pract destroying the viena.

This works for the doppel 2h swords just fine and blue is the better option for sure, for my cleric i am not so sure because viena really has better stats on the weapon.

So TLDR hereis the questions:
-How much does the min/max dmg + int do in terms of damage?
-What would you do, transcend the viena, not transcend and use to trade in for pract later, get the blue one transcend and have power now with minimal cost?

Do you think me asking for a value/performance option fits in a threed on how to spend 75m?

Any explanation on viena? i wouldn’t mind getting one but if i do do i transcend it? if i don’t blue is better if i do i lose easily 20m silver once i upgrade to orange or rank9 weapon.

Up to you if you want to transcend Viena. If it’s not an endgame weapon, then consider not transcending. If you do think that it will be with you for a very long time (upgrading to 2 Prac weapons will drain millions, unless you already have those millions), then transcend it.

Each INT gives roughly 2.5 magic attack. With 111 INT, that would be about 277 extra magic attack.

I’m not sure where you got those numbers, but this is what I see.

Pevordimas Mace:

Vienarazis Mace:

Selling the Prac and getting shards would probably allow you one more level of Transcending for the Pevordimas Mace, which makes it 1,736. Vienarazis Mace is still stronger due to the INT and min/max.

Personally, I would go with Windia rod for that build since it has SPR.

It starts in the headline. Mine is “not endgame weapon” his is “endgame weapon”.
He has 75m to spare, i have a couple and a pract. I am looking for a good value, that´s why i am considering the blue(maybe purple?) hg drops while he goes windia vs viena.

Maybe it wasn´t clear, let me try to make it clear.
I consider the blue weapon because i am not losing 25m once i break it up going for an endgame weapon, or maybe more likely, for a rank 9 weapon.

If i don´t transcend the venia that would be pretty sad because i get a lot more dmg from a blue transcend lvl2 for less cost.

I am sure that i will play the character and i won´t upgrade to a 2pract weapon soon thats why i am 100%sure that i want to transcend. For my sw i will use a blue weapon because that´s economical, for the cleric i wasn´t sure thats why i am asking around here.

Thx for clarifying that, if the game simply adds up all the attack (and i think that min/max is added trhe same? ) then skill modifier viena really adds a GOOD chunk of both physical and matk.

Windia doesn´t have physical attack and i am an auto attacking build am i missing something?

Eventually the blue weapon could have 2more gemslots to make up for the viena stats a bit which is why i am kinda torn.

PS: Some math i did: Viena mace is 30m(25m+mats).+4takes 29shards=43,5m. 73,5m for 2307+277matk+244atk(±dmg)=2828matk.
Pevordimas is 7.5m(4sockets). +4 takes 26shards=39m. 46,5m for 2032matk.
If i break it down to matk/silver it is 22.800silver per matk for pevo and 26k for viena. That´s what makes my decision hard. And there i forgot to calculate in gems, 2xred gem is only 2m on top and +240dmg setting it even better value/money. The main question is how far do i get with such a weapon (wont be +4 when i start but thats my goal) and how much better can i be wiht the viena?
