Simple suggestion. Please make people below a certain lvl being not able to speak on “normal” chat. Reason is very simple at the moment starting towns are overflow with chat spamming gold sellers lvl 1. Please do exacly the same thing you did with “global” chat.
Additionally set up a chat filter that block people from talking if they send the same sentence few times over a short period of time.

I disagree with this. What about new players asking about something that they are unfamiliar about? Why shut down new players who may need assistance because of these bots that should be banned or blocked?
This game is supposed to be social. Shutting down chat will inconvenience and turn off the players who it is designed to connect.
You still will be able to talk in whispers and in party. If you want something, then instead of spaming the main chat “PLZ HELP ME” send someone a direct private message. Trust me, response is much bigger.
And be honest, for a new player reaching lvl 20 is about 3-4 hours of play. Not a big deal, you can manage 4h playing without talking to anyone. For gold spammer making 3-4 charracters a day to lvl 20 so he can spam the chat is a lot.
At the moment the new players are not able to communicate in main town because of the bot spam message, so even if they wanted, they cant. Please look at my screenshoot
