Just a place to talk about western animation studios and their glorious creations. I will be talking mostly about Pixar, Disney and DreamWorks stuff, but you can talk about TV cartoons or animation shorts if you feel like doing it.

Was just watching The Road To Eldorado yesterday and damn, how I love that movie. Love the characters, love the setting and of course, love the music.

On a side note, I also watched Brave for the 4th time last week and it’s hard to accept that people really believe that Frozen is good in a world where Brave exists. Frozen is outranked by it in every single category I can think of.

Wasn’t this supposed to be a non-japanase animation thread? o.o

Anyway, I really love western animation, such a great time I had with Titan A.E (stunning for it’s time), The Black Cauldron, Quest for Camelot, The Great Mouse Detective (this one scared me sometimes as a child, with The Black Cauldron), etc.

But Anastasia gets me everytime, I never get tired from watching that movie it is just… ugh

Got much interested in Disney/Pixar etc. animation after I watched Lion King when I was a kid. Even laughed at Mufasa death scene but I was small at that time, what do I know.

Ummm, If I had to choose my favorite Disney movie it would probably be Ratatouille.
Favorite 2D animation I guess I will go with either Spirit or The Iron Giant.

Disney, Pixar and Dreamworks are the big ones of course.

Dreamworks --Prince of Egypt -I just love the part when they walk through the Red Sea

I like a lot of Don Bluth’s works. Anastasia, An American Tail, The Land Before Time, Secret of NIMH etc…
