Nobody do Saalus missions anymore?

A few weeks ago, when my character was mid level, I could warp to Saalus Convent, queue for a mission and get in in a few minutes, there was always 15-20 people around at any time. Nowadays, the area is always empty and unless you want to solo the mission, you can queue forever and never enter. So how’s everyone getting their blessed shards? Do you trade stuff for them?

PS: this is Fedimian server.

might have something to do with the upcomming Saalus change, where you only have to do a single run for 2 cubes, so people feel like its a waste of effort to do it atm, atleast thats how i feel.

also, its vacation season for most people i think

I’m from Fedimian too, and I can say that no one has ever used the auto-match system for Saalus mission… it’s always been like that, it’s nothing new.
There are shouts for Saalus parties going on every time through all the day… what’s the point of using it?
If you managed to find players in auto-match in the past, it was probably due to new players that just got into the game in the past few months due to the recent leveling events, I suggest you to not waste your time anymore in auto-match and just join a party in shout/make your own.

Also, talking from personal experience, most players tend to stick with their guild buddies/friends for Saalus, since they know each others characters better and it’s definitely easier to do them with your weak characters if everyone brings in a well equipped character in rotation… it makes the whole “daily Saalus” process more painless and faster.

Yeah just saw formed parties do the mission. However this means leaving your party, or if you’re the party leader, disbanding your own party to join a mission. Sounds like a lot of hassle…

Probably try considering the time… in Telsiai where I play there are down times and peak times. I used to do it when I know many people log in

It would be nice to have event parties (public parties) that you can create for special events, like a super-party, and disband after an event. So you can stay in your own local party with your friends and join other players when your friends are not online. Of course, this may already exist and I simply need to RTFM

Well, parties are parties, they are supposed to be temporary in games like these, if you want a “super party” that’s what Guilds are for  (also, you still have the Group Chat option, just create a channel if you want to keep in touch with everyone).

My previous reply was mostly about informing you that people still do Saalus on a daily basis, the only reason you haven’t been able to find players in auto-match is simply because almost no one use it, it’s faster and easier to solo them on well geared characters or to join a random group in shout (or, as I pointed out before, do them with friends/guildies)

Ppl make parties to do it cause they wanna do all their saalus runs for all their alts as fast as possible so they want ppl who also run saalus on multiple alts.

Easier to have a party of 4 or 5 ppl all going to use 3 or 4 alts than to have to Q 8 different times for it.

what? im playing at fedi and I always see many spam at chat about saalus party…
