hello! thankyou for sharing your build. i am interested in making sapper c3 (please dont tell me that sapper c3 sucks…i know it…but i just want to make it…) i have a few question…

  1. is it hard to positioning yourself in order to get bonus crit from sneak hit at pvp or gvg?

  2. if…ranger barrage and feint is going to be fixed, which i dont know is it going to be fixed or not…is it much better if i just take qs for bonus stun instead of ranger?

  3. is falconer have synergy with sapper? aside from circling…

  1. If you have cloaking its not as hard. But we’ll have the werewolf card tomorrow which will make it easier for us to crit.

  2. It won’t be “fixed” because it probably isn’t a bug. QS2 vs Ranger
    Teardown lets you deal with statues. Barrage lets you kill and deal with stealthy scouts.

  3. Not really except Cannoneer goes well with falconer.

Also Cannoneer C2 will have a new magic circle breaking skill. This is great news for Sapper Rogues!

hey how useful is sapper in pvp? do your opponents fall for leading them into a concealed claymore/stockades/punji? any uses with broom trap for pvp? and battles seem to be really hectic and fast paced, is it hard to place trap and conceal it without everyone noticing?

With the announcement of rank 8 classes, what do you plan on going? Would you still recommend cannoneer at rank 7?

What do you think of doing a ArcherC2>SapperC2>RogueC3>Mergen ?
The idea here is to use burrow, evasion and lacrimathor as substitutes for Scout and Mergen as a substitute for Cannoner. I wouldnt get Backstab and would focus on 2h Bows. I was aiming at that sweet capture lvl 15.
Also i was think at stats as :
Con = 100
Dex = 90
Str = All the rest

Mergen may be really nice with this build. Otherwise cannoneer C2 is nice because it has another magic circle breaking skill (siege burst)

Would Mergen synergize with cannoneer though? Seems to be a bow exclusive class.

Well you could take something else at rank 7 and rely on Mergen for burst. I haven’t really thought about it though. I will wait for more mergen details first.

Burrow limits your skills and it makes you unable to move. Capture is the same at lv 1 or 15.

Rogue 3 is harder to play especially without scout

Dont bother making a klai side sapper 2. Advancement quest is bugged.

I tought the number of max magic circles captured was affected by the skill level, at least the description says so. Thanks for the info

Im thinking of using burrow more like a defense skill, something similar to cloaking but without movement, and it seens like burrow only disables melee/buff/chaneling skills and since it looks like mergen has only ranged skills maybe their skills would be burrow friendly.

Also, since i have some Dex on my build (not enough to crit/evade, but enough to hit on TBL) the evasion+sneakhit (maybe even feint) combo looks like a good way to make those Dex points shine.

Im looking for utility in this build since i plan on getting my damage from ranks 8-10. What do you think? Maybe RogueC2>Scout would be better?

I am updating this build to make Shootdown 4/Siege Burst 1. Or you can save points from Shootdown for C2 skills.

Which path is more viable and / or advisable to use?

Archer C2 > Sapper C2 = Swift Step (+25% Crit)
-or-
Archer C1 > Ranger C1 > Sapper C2 = (Steady Aim & Barrage)

Also, now with the latest patch that has changes with Steady Aim from:
(3 * SKILL LVL)%
to:
(5 + SKILL LVL)%

I thought about doing sapper2 >rogue3 , but rogue 3 is nerf, now I’m thinking of doing rogue>sapper3 >cannonner , scout is really necessary ?? I do not play much pvp …

Yeah I saw these buffs. I will make a sapper 3 eventually but I’m not updating this guide anymore until I reroll.
