Type of Bug : $No Data$ texts in-game
Date/Time and Location : 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m up to present EDT Wed 6 Apr (5:30 a.m. here)

Description : Evreything was fine when I was playing yesterday and for the past week. After a night’s sleep (I live in the Philippines so it’s morning now), I see that client became korean and I restarted the game and suddenly $No Data$ texts in-game everywhere. I have tried doing this from one of the forum posts, several times in the past 2 hours as well as doing a steam verification of game chache integrity and it still doesn’t work, steam also keeps getting that “number of files failed to validate and need to be reacquired” everytime.
I used this procedure:
- $No Data$ texts in-game
For players that see $No Data$ texts in-game instead of normal text, check your Game Settings to see if the language is properly set to English. Chances are, it’s in Korean.
If it still doesn’t fix the problem, please try the following.
a) Go to Steam/steamapps/common/TreeOfSavior/release
b) Open release.revision.txt
c) Erase the number that is typed in the file
d) Save the file and close it
e) Restart the game
(decription of what you were doing before, during, and after the bug happened)
Steps to reproduce the issue :

Opened the client and saw korean version instead

Restarted the client and got $No Data$ texts in-game everywhere

Restarted again, same result

Did the steps mentioned above for no data texts, no changes

Verified steam integrity of game cache, no changes

Steam keeps saying there are missing files and I have to redownload it

I did steps 4-5 for about 3 times for the past 2 hours and no changes

[EDIT2] PROBLEM FIXED! (I think)
I navigated till I was inside the game with my character and opened the settings menu, I saw the last option/drop down menu that is in “kr”, clicked it and was able to pick english and I think all is well now. Some of the items like exp cards still have no data on it but more or less I can do quests and talk to npc’s.
