No Cookies in EZ Mode?

Can anyone from the Staff please find out if it is actually true that it’s just cubes and no Cookies? The patch notes are often missing something, so better ask or remind I guess.
Thing is, the cubes are totally worthless and the Cookies are the only good stuff apart from (maybe) fun now.
If it is actually true that it’s planned without Cookies maybe it could be given a second thought like Cookies instead of Cubes - that would probably be even more accepted by the community I guess.

Hard mode’s description doesn’t include cookies either. It also has inaccurate boss counts and says you can’t use items even though you can use some of them. Also, you currently don’t get any cookies because you always fail in the first stage.

Well no Cookies - thanks for nothing.
At least the event is doable now and can be done for fun from time to time.

the patch notes are wrong.

instead of getting 2 cubes for clearing stage 3, you get 1 cube + 1 fortune cookie.

so i guess it comes down to if you can confidently clear stage 2 on normal mode or not which makes easy mode useless.

ie. normal mode clear stage 2 = 3 cubes + 2 cookies
easy mode clear stage 3 = 3 cubes + 1 cookie
