So I’ve been exploring all the classes and look at their origin and stuff and they seem pretty diverse within each base class.
But I’ve noticed that there’s no asian-theme/inspired wizard class…
like for other trees
Archer: Wugushi
Cleric: Sadhu, Monk, Miko, Taoist
Swordsman: Shinobi
I don’t think Asian culture/storytelling was big on spell-slinging mages. That’s more of a European thing. But if you have some suggestions, by all means share 'em.

The only wizard with any kind of “origin” seems to be featherfoot
Every other wizard class is just a universally common magic trope

Well… There is a Onmyouji Sprite somewhere and it is listed as Wizard Class. Maybe on rank 9? ;-;

I think I saw something like that, but I don’t remember the class family. I’m surprised they’re not Clerics… I mean Onmyouji usually exorcise spirits. Although I suppose that’s not what they actually existed to do (only in manga/anime)
In CLAMP’s Tokyo Babylon and X-1999 there is a couple of Onmyouji (Subaru Sumeragi and Seishiro Sakurazuka) and they are a priest-like mage. Onmyodo is a mix of science and occultism… I guess it suits better for Wizard.

Plus, any potential supplement class for sorc and necro is always nice.

The best way to enjoy a meal is not by eating bones that people toss your way out of convenience but to go to the store and buy a slab of meat to cook for yourself. Only by putting yourself out there would you know and see the varieties that the store has to offer. It’s not anyone’s job to inform you. But some people will compare you to a lazy dog in hoping that there would be some realization on your part upon this message. It could mean that they disagree with you. It could mean that they think that you’re ignorant. So they refuse to spell it out for you lol

I think the closest thing is a Taoist, but that is already in the cleric tree. We also have the WuGuiShi, aka “ghost controller”
