[Ninja Build] Sword3-Pelt-Sair2-Shinobi

Trying to figure out a shinobi build now. This build is what I’m leaning towards, with strong DEX focus skill. Any ideas?

Pelt is due to utility and stuff for ranks 8+ (please don’t lecture me about NOT getting pelt, I actually want to be invited to a party endgame thanks)

Swordsman 3 is for the pommel and/or double slash. The build has mainly pvp capabilities but some pve due to pelt 1…since pelt 1 is all we need amirite boys?

Lastly, corsair for the deepz and lovely jolly-my-roger. Then of course, the coupe de grace which is SHINOBI (nice, dattebayo!)

Any comments and or arguements as to why my build is utter garbage leave them below so I can argue back please. Thanks! :slight_smile:

I went the same path but slightly different skills, currently Corsair2, 1:2 STR:DEX.

IMO it’s better leaving Guardian at 1 since upping it means bigger damage penalty for only longer duration which is not needed at all. It’s only a small penalty I know but the duration is just not needed since it’s always available before CD so why bother.

Maxing Pain Barrier is a must. Makes your life so much easier against bosses and in PVP. This will also give you plenty of elbow room to setup your bunshin combos later on without worrying about interruptions. Taking points off Concentrate and Pommel Beat will allow this. I maxed Pommel Beat at first but did skill reset because it’s just too damn slow and clunky for a single hit skill. Just wasn’t worth using when you’re constantly getting knocked around without max Pain Barrier.

Concentrate at level 5 provides more than enough hits for Hexen, Kunai, and Double Slash combo, and it’ll be available again for the next rotation.

Thanks, I believe maxing pain barrier was a possibility when I was making the build. I feel the 10 second downtime is pretty good meaning you’ll have pain barrier up like 75% of the boss fights which is amazing! And also for PvP it’ll help (just a bit) until you run into those coughOPcough cyrokinos.

I can’t read that language I don’t know what it is (portugese? I think) so i can’t understand the guide but the build path seems good enough.

I DO want peltista in my path because I feel swash is too good to pass up especially once ranks 8+ come into play many others will start wanting swordies with pelt. I like your guide though. Thanks for the insight.
