A HPB and a LPB, takes me back 20 years.
You know doing //ping fast gives a lower value than the actual one because of a bug?
Maybe it’s just the game files being ■■■■network wise as their server responds just fine.
Where you from OP?
Im from Cali, playing on Orsha, I get around 80-110ping
You shouldn’t be getting over 100ms considering your location.
Argentina, Buenos Aires. I shouldn’t be getting over 200ms from where I am.
West coast to east coast is typically 80-100 ping. Vice Versa as well.
My friend is from NYC and hes getting a consistent 30-40 ping. Q_Q
I only notice the difference when I log onto my alt archer and we both auto-attack spam.
Is that supposed to be good?
I mean, same country same side and a very little distance between server/his homeorwhereverheconnectsfrom
Cause servers are on the east coast. 10-50 is usually what I see when the server is in my region for most games. When going across the country it usually went to around 80-150 range.
Ive experienced this in nearly every game Ive played and was most evident when playing quake, Admining for a group of servers.
yea its good, his auto-attacks are lightning fast compared to mine.
off-topic, what department do you work in?
Department? What are you talking about?
Sorry, I looked up your profile and you said you worked at a hospital + picture.
So I assumed you are a medical student, but your photo showed you in a short sleeved whites + black clothes underneath which is against policy where I work. (Difficult to see blood and bodily fluids on dark clothes and shoes) Also I don’t see your school’s name above your left-breast pocket nor your university’s insignia on your right or left arm. No ID badge either with codes on the backside.
Do you just volunteer? I ask because I can’t figure out which department you work for that would allow that (ICU, transplant, LnD, ortho-surg, telemetry ,etc)
It’s cold as ■■■■here and I wear the dark clothes(Just a sweater) under the white “Shirt” which has the red insignia.
Radiology, image diagnostics, blood is usually minimun and we get to wear disposable sterile protection on head, face, hands, body and shoes and sometimes X-ray protective glasses.
Oh, and I forgot to mention it, I don’t get paid a cent and recently got half-rekt by H1N1.
Ah nice, I was going to guess either Pharmacy, Radiology, or Psychiatric ward.
I enjoyed my rotation in Radiology. Really laid back, lots of good banter (maybe I just had a good proctor/crew) and it was blissfully quiet (minus the MRI machine hum) + patient has to be still and quiet for 20-30mins per scan which was a bonus (no complaints)
Good workout too. walking to other departments with the gurney to haul patients back to radiology
Keep up the good work =)
That’s an odd coincidence! My friend from NYC is also a Radiology Resident and he got rekt by the flu lol. He hasn’t touched Tree of Savior in over a week, but I think he got infected by that Overwatch hype haha
EDIT: He doesn’t get paid either
Traditional Radiology isn’t as laid back, worst I had was taking radiographies of 3 car accident victims immobilized/with oxygen tank which equaled to 18 images in less than 20 minutes with an old machine that wasn’t even digital and quite worn out in a public hospital last year.
Most of the speed there was me running with tons of cassettes and moving the heavyasfuck X-Ray tube like a madman pointing it at the correct body regions.
I went to work with it thinking it was a simple flu and everything got worse but I’m fine now, not as lethal as media says
It’s the same in the Emergency Medicine. Some days its slow with a lot of boring cases and minor injuries. Other times, It gets insane. In one day I had a patient (apparently was a drug dealer) with 6 stab wounds to the back with 3 penetrating both kidneys. Afterwards I had to deal with a very senior patient who thought I would get breast cancer if I examined her breast (facepalm), she had malignant cancer and you can literally see yellow solidified puss/mass consuming her left breast. A few minutes after I had a kid (skateboarder) who somehow managed break his tibia through his kneecap, it was protruding upward like a spear and shield. Then I get a patient’s wife coming to “visit” her husband who just had a heart-attack and she starts slapping him, ripping out his IVs and Leds, I tried to stop her by getting in between her and her husband and this women literally decks me in the face. I have never called out a Code Grey so urgently and I have never seem nurses bulldoze a patient family member. Apparently the husband was having an affair with his best friends daughter. sigh Police got involved and while I telling them my side of the story, another patient got a Code Blue…I could keep typing but that day was amazing and exhausting
I didn’t mean to offend you by saying Radiology is laid back, I just found my experience there to be less hectic than my other rotations. Most departments have their up and down days, unless you work in Pharmacy lol
I wasn’t offended at all, I just tried to give it another look.
I’ve quite some experiences like those, once I had to take an abdomen radiography from a Gedarme(Military police) who got point blank shot with a shotgun from one side to the other.
Lucky him being extremelly fat, the damage to his internal organs was but a scratch. Still the whole X-Ray room reeked like burnt meat.
