Nice ninja nerf to Reflect Shield

No longer prevents cast interuption with today’s maint - it’s officially garbage now. :relaxed:

This has actually occurred on several skills i don’t know if it was a nerf or a fix but either way i don’t like what this change has done to possession lol.

Well, I guess its also a surespell buff…

but clerics don’t get that :frowning:

I think its a fix, reflect shield not suppose to work that way, prevents cast interuption is sure spell job :X

Sure they do. Clerics have Safety zone at c1, and Fade at c2, stone skin at c3.
Bokors, Dieverbys and monks also get invulnerability skills.

I haven’t tried those and my issue with it was you generally used zabais and possession then safety zone with Oob to have less down time where you do nothing but now you have to choose to use safety zone with either Oob or possession and go back to running laps waiting for safety zone to come back up just like pre sadhu c2  may not be a big deal for many classes but this changed just made c2 not worth it anymore.

lol, stealth nerf / ninja nerf must be the most used words today

I think you have more options than you think you do.

OoB gives you a big bonus to evasion, so building some dex is a very good idea. Combos with Safety zone well.
Fade will clear all aggro towards you, letting monsters retarget on something else. (A pet, or the Krivis torch thing)
And really, why is stuff hitting you at all? you have some of the highest single target damage in the game, just hang out in a slightly lower population area, put your back to a wall and wreck things one at a time.

WRONG building with dex is ■■■■ it gives the class nothing other then evasion its a stat that some sadhus suffer a little of not because its GOOD but because they are forced to.

Fade will not help you cant use it while channeling and if you use it before channeling they will break aggro and a bunch of mobs will move away before you start your aoe.

“Your classes ONE aoe got nerfed so feel bad and lvl slow now”

is not helpful advice.

possession is a channel spell it had a trade off, it left you open to attacks for damage. Now its just bad.

PS: its also worthless in pvp now aswell

Sorry, you use possession for damage?
Thats a thing? I honestly thought we were talking about Out of Body woes, since Possession is a pretty good CC, but pretty bad damage. Why would you channel Possession and not Out of Body?

Or are we somehow talking about Astral Body explosion? Its the main AoE skill of Sadhu, I thought.

Have you played with this skill? its damage is great lol. The issue is with this change all sadhu has that is useful is Oob (which is still good) but now i can’t see anyone ever putting more then one rank in sadhu.

Carve ausurine is c3 diev though. It’s not really worth since the circling thing is kinda gimmicky.

Possession is like 568 base damage at level 5, hitting twice per second for 10 seconds max on 5 targets.

So reflect shield is not supposed to actually do anything. The damage decrease is meager, the hit limit is dumb. The ONE thing it had going on is that it allowed you to get a couple casts out (if you weren’t being bodied by 10 enemies at once).

You never played psychokino did you ?
Actually, Reflect Shield was the skill making Psychic Pressure viable…

Thanks imc !

edit : forget what I said, it interrupts cast time (the little bar) but not casting animation…
At least I can still psy-pressure with my shield activated :o

I consider anything that isn’t in the patch notes a bug. What convinces me that its a bug is because doppel’s skill cyclone also gets cancelled if you get hit.

I’m not even gonna ask, you obviously have never even used a sadhu. Stop making baseless judgments and comeback once you actually know what your saying.

probably because the most common practice is to ommit controversial changes from patch notes? like that silver debacle a while ago

Well its not really a change its a fix for something that shouldn’t have been in the first place its just its hurt a few classes pretty bad.

Meanwhile they put notes for even the dumbest bugfixes no one even knows existed every patch.
