Newbie. Is it still populated? Be Honest!

Hello, i was an Indonesian TOS player. I played on 2016, and took a long hiatus on the game and recently back last week and i realize that the community and population really dead. Then i decide to move to iTOS.

On Indonesian TOS i was a full support priest with lv 270. No one seems like around that lv anymore, so i left literally alone with no one to lv up with. The fact that i am a full support class with barely any attack skills make it worse. I tried to queuing on Siaulai Mission but NO ONE seems there. I was left alone for hours. I tried to use megaphone and shoutout for party but no one replies. There are barely any shoutouts though. it’s really empty there and it doesn’t feel like an online game at all.

What about iTOS? i just need to know before i download the game. Please be honest! And if the community and population isn’t that good here, what could we do to fix them? Let’s share our opinion for this game!

The game is populated,it’s nothing like Indonesia tos.

rame kok, login aja ke server sea ntr jg nemu banyak player2 lainnya

From what I heard and read, iToS Is as close to heaven as IndoToS was close to hell :expressionless:

be the population you want to see in the world

what the point of asking if the jar has cookies if you don’t deep your hands in it first

Depends on the server. Silute is pretty populated, you can get party for everythinh you want, and healers are always welcome.

Define ‘populated.’ You’ll always find people in Klaipeda & Orsha channel 1. Fedimian has turned into a deserted town with occasional squires & oracles parking near Vakarine statue. Most lower lvl maps are empty as ■■■■ with people ignoring quests and going straight for rank 10.

SEA/Telsiai is pretty populated as well, as least compared to the last time I played before going on hiatus a few months ago.

Now during peak hours you’d see at least two full Klaipeda City channels. Probably due to that Popo points feature as well so people try not to log out even after doing their dailies and stuff.

There seem to be always someone calling for CMs (or you can start one and there will be joiners). No problem queueing dungeons as well unless you’re playing at a time when nearly everyone else is asleep. Raids, Uphill and Velcofer runs appear to be mostly done on weekends.

Falconer3, Healer (pretty much every Cleric build), and at times LinkThaum3s are most sought after members besides DPS.

The Steam-charts are kinda unreliable, cause PP shop and invite a friend event have been distorting the charts by a lot.

The game is still slowly withering away since there is little to no real balancing, the developers are spending their resources on temporary patch-working (e.g. Rank 6/7 Class attributes for Rank 10) and Class changes (e.g. Kabbalist becoming a Healer rather than a debuffer/buffer) instead of keeping the Classes unique in their own case (e.g. Clerics becoming more unitary through the Ranks 6-8 with debuff removal/-protection, damage, debuffs and damage augmentation buffs/debuffs)

Given they also want to “re-balance” Clerics, we might even see a further drop, because I think a lot of people like me only play TOS because Clerics here are not useless, weak Healers
but a really diverse group that offers ± everything you could need (except good buffs in active gameplay).

In my opinion I wouldn’t count on this game being really populated for long, currently we’re at a high because of a recent Rank update, but it will soon plummet at around 1200-1400 average online players again.

This doesn’t mean the game will die anytime soon, but you should brace yourself for very fluctuating numbers of players.

this is the kind of positive thinking this world needs

to finally go to hel :unamused:
