New x8 scrolls: where to use

Hi all :slight_smile: I’m now Lv 266 grinding Maven Abbey. For me grind is a torture… so I thought using this x8 scrolls at Maven Abbey, but I always heard that using exp scrolls for grind is “not efficient”…

The other option is use the scrolls in Fedimian Mission, but right now each boss give me rough 1.5% exp… I don´t know if it’s going to be more efficient (since now x4 and x8 scrolls doesn’t consume time if you are in queue or city).

I also don’t know how the math will apply. If each boss gives me 1.5%, with x8 scroll (300% exp) is going to give me 4.5%? or less exp?
And last one, I don’t know if 1 hour of killing Fedimian bosses will give more exp than 1 hour grinding at Maven Abbey (you lose 3 min in torch, 1 min starting mission, etc… per run)

at that level, its much more better to use it in maven compared to missions.

completing missions gives you let’s say 1.5 * 4 bosses average 6% mulitply it by 3 and you get 18% a day, *3 = 54% for about 25-30 minutes gameplay.

you’d still waste the remaining time on the tome, however the exp grinding in maven is much better than missions. depending on the party setup you can easily get 20m per hour which is when you should probably use the 8x scroll to maximize the output.

newest patch on the main site shows that the maintenance will add those scrolls in.

A good party with chrono and healer at Maven at level 275+ can net you 50% per hour so it’s not bad at all.

It’s actually more efficient to use tomes from storage to maven (alemeth is pretty ok too I guess) than in mercenary. More so if you have a good party setup with no competitors.

Did they ever fix it so you cant use that bug to move while in que for dungeons? If the times dont reduce i can already see people somehow abusing this. Like somehow getting unlimited 300% xp.

I’m gonna try one of those x8 on maven, currently I’m at class lvl 13 with 90%, gotta hurry to reach class lvl 15 before rank 8 comes out.

I wonder… the tome says : ur not gonna loose time while in a city/dungeon/ ect… so what about if ur around lvl 200 going to make the lvl 200 dungeon and missions and using reset scrolls so u can…at least lvl without any waiting and without loosing any time from the tome, as long as ur in fedimian…?

It actually depletes… @Excrulon checked the code and it turns out they commented out the function that holds the exp, IMC didn’t do revision of their code.

Well… My abbey parties are like 18mil per hr… I don’t think the missions are that fast?
