New skill balances

Where can I see the expected release date?

Want to stay offline for awhile and come back to get the “returning player bonus” but I’m pretty sure I’ll forget this game even exists if I completely drop it.

EDIT: Nevermind I uninstalled, hopefully when I randomly remember this game later it’ll be better.

When R9 is still not released, you also hope that the balanced version will be released?

The number of servo in each declining, but IMC still does not update the new version.

When my friend has left this game, I do not know what else to rejoice in this game.

I also have 4570 Hours online time.

They literally released rank 9 in Korea within the last month and they’re trying to get that same update to us before the end of the year. That is an extremely fast update turnaround time for a Korean MMORPG, in which usually the international version is many updates (many months) behind the KR version. We also have gotten multiple pieces of content (winter costume, halloween event, etc) before the KR version did.

They even opened up the files for translation so that the community can help to get the update sooner if they can/want to. They know we want the update and are doing everything they can to push it to us.

There’s no need to be dramatic.

Do the volunteer translator get anything in game?
Because, the satisfaction alone of getting content for a game, when knowing that your work will aid a company get money, perhaps even a lot of money. While you get nothing from that. seems, a little unfair.

And I seriously hope that open source translations is not the only source of translations they have.

They awarded people for the game launch, but not now. It’s purely to volunteer/help out, and I’ve contributed multiple translations/fixes myself.

No, it is not the only source of translations they have. I even said this in my post, they open it for help, not for people to do it for them.

nice way to spin the fact that imc doesn’t want to spend money on professional translations

You just ignore how they handled the recent highly exploited events?

They do it in house. This is no different than the majority of Korean MMORPGs.

That has absolutely nothing to do with this topic. You can literally check my post history for my rage regarding that, but again, it has nothing to do with this.

Thanks for helping out then, I take it you do it more as an exercise in the language/hobby with a hint of hoping the content comes faster?

Personally I would never take out the money making bit out of my mind, they should atleast acknowledge those who help out once more, if someone is going to help me make a wheelbarrow of money, (and suppose, I was too greedy to even pay them for their work) I atleast would give that guy food.

I do it because I have free time and I want to help out. It bothers me that the game has some mistranslations/wrong text that confuses people, so I just go ahead and fix it.

I just put in some fixes for a bunch of longstanding issues on items that have mistranslated bonuses, stat descriptions, grammar in some quests, etc. I’m not going to get anything for it and I don’t expect anything for it.

Once again, thank you.

But then I cannot forgive IMC, relying on their playerbase to fix things, only when it helps them make money.
Sure, there are plenty of community fixes out there, but I don’t think I can recall a community fix being applied on an active product, making money out of it. I’m possibly, very wrong on that, but then, that’s still very wrong.

Now, I wonder if they finally fixed “Ebonypawn”, last time I checked, evoniphon was still “Ebonypawn” according to the hunter master.

It doesn’t bother me. I enjoy playing the game and want it to continue, so I’m happy that I can help out. They have mistakes and they are always working on new content, so they don’t have time to go back and fix old stuff. I can help out and fix those things for them, especially since they probably don’t even know it’s an issue.

Glad to hear that, what you’re doing is not wrong.

But I fear, that it is wrong in a slight way, If enough people do this, IMC will rely on free labour, this is not an open source project, we don’t get a piece of the project for us to toy with. This is a product, something they use to further their vision, expand their market, all those things.

We get to play for free, thanks to some poor souls that overexpend, as I said, this doesn’t give me a great impression of IMC as a company, that’s it.

You keep doing what you’re doing, I’ll thank you once more for it, only change if you think you should change. Do not let me change you.
