New Silute. And it's ping ~~

So I’m playing in São Paulo, br. Silute ping was 20~400+.
Now in the new location, for me, ping is 180~240.
Not good at all but it’s better than last host.
It’s too soon say something about gameplay, but as long as there is stability it’s fine.

edit: I did a Dungeon now to test some autoatacks and skill delays.
It’s slow. But Playable. I kinda miss Orsha. haha

MMOS are completelly playable with 200~300 of ping. As long as it keeps stable we are gonna be fine. lol

Not this one, 200-300 ping as a swordsman already makes you attack at least 50% slower and it gets the double-slash bug.

Umu. I’m afraid that we are going to get rekt in pvp by this ping. But for pve is sort of acceptable.

I want to go back to Orsha now…

[SA] was just a trap since the begining…

Tell that to any auto-attack or swordsman class.

I’m a paladin, I know what you are saying but what can we do right now?

You could consider using a proxy tunneling VPN.

Even if the ping is a little higher, it feels a lot better than what we had some days for now

Only those which trust the client with certain timing calculations, and this one clearly does not. It’s unforgiving. When I’m using quick cast and the servers are lagging, it sometimes takes me like 3 seconds to charge my energy bolt to max level…

I think that has more to do with packet loss and server being overwhelmed than actual ping.

I’m not okay with the change… as an Archer, the attack speed difference between playing with 30ms and 250ms is SUPER NOTABLE
I really hope they bring back the server to SA again

Where did you get that 20 to 400 ping? I always managed to be under 20 to a maximum of 90 ping.

No matter what you say, playing with 200-300 ping is not viable if you’re going towards PvP.

On the other hand, Aus players are masters at pvp over 250+ pings XD
Just saying =P :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

It’s ok right? It’s just temporary…
And I’ll keep saying that to myself until we go back to a local host.

After maintenance I was able to play for a couple of days with fixed 30ms ping. But after that it would start with the bullshit all over again. I think daily server restarts would suffice. But we don’t really know what was going on between them and the data center. (Specially because if they were getting DDoS’d and the service provider was bad… I mean it’s a double no no.

Relax, it’s temporary, right?

Even with a proxy tunneler it won’t even match the previous state. Services like Pingzapper, WTFast only reduces like 30-50ms.

We hope so friend. I really enjoy the game and I hope it come back to SA.

Really? I get my ping reduced by 90~100, and it’s beautiful ;(
