So hello, i’m a (not even yet) new player from Algeria (North Africa) and i heard about this game since a moment, but i was hardcorely playing Black Desert Online (which i really dont reccomend for people that like ToS, or any hardcore pve lover) and after leaving the game for some obvious reasons you could find easily by googling, i searched for a good mmorpg where i could spend some months without having to kill the same monster in the same area without any kind of reward after hundred of hours (to be exact i killed the same monsters in the same area for more than 300hours, now tell me ToS is grindy xD), and i figured out that ToS is an excellent PvE game in my taste

But then when i tried to play it i figured out that the downloads have been blocked by IMC in steam, and that there is absolutely no way to get past that block, and what i am feeling now is that me and a lot of new players are now loosing a lot of time while other players that started before us are getting way ahead us in thoose nearly two weeks that passed so far, i also saw while browsing that a lot of people have been getting ping issues that were a bit of game breaking for them (especially for archers) so i was wondering why wouldn’t it be possible to start a wave or at least one fresh new server, especially for EU players that have been playing on a EU server but located in NA, and at the same time give a chance for players that are waiting for the game to be aviable on steam again to get started in an empty server, instead of being level 1 in a server full of level 150+ people 
TL;DR : So to sum it up, and make it easier to read :
Problems :
- Some people want to start over again without the ping issues.
- A lot of people are waiting for the game to be back on steam and are getting way behind players that have been ingame before the steam block.
- Some people have stopped playing because of the lag issues but dont want to start over in a server where people are too much ahead.
Possible solutions :
- After increasing the capacity of the servers (which is going to happen if i understood it right), a merge of all the servers in the same region and the addition of a new server in each region would be a good solution, that would fix all the problems (for people that want to start over without the lag issues in NA), except for the EU server where the existing one would be relocalizated in EU, and another one would be created in EU.
- After the end of the steam block, a new server in NA and a new one in EU when the team decides where the servers will be localized, would fix the issues aswell.
- After the relocalization of the EU server, a new server in EU would fix the problem of EU players wanting to start over without the lag issues, the problem of EU players that didn’t play because of lag issues and that dont want to be way behind others, and fix the problem of new EU players (and even some other region players that dont mind the ping) that have been blocked and that dont want to be behind others.
