New problem needs fix asap

Hi its me again with sort of similar problem, remember my two friends (A. with successful download and B. with infi-loop download). Now the situation has reversed and friend A now after trying to open her ToS and update instead, had her ToS restart from downloading… Any suggestions on how to fix? we 3 wanted to start playing tomorrow and her net is slow to be able to download it within the night, especially if she can’t leave her pc open.

Note:
-Founders Server is already installed due to having the game already installed before.

try changing your steam option to opt out of steam beta, it is a steam problem with downloading using a capped internet i think.

The problem sort of got fixed, we noticed in my folder I had steam id app txt, while in her folder, there is none. After copying the text, her file started verifying and ended at 512mb left for downloading (which is a good thing). I’ll respond back once everything is set in stone.

Update:

I got the 7gb file Tos from friend B. What i did to get this file to work:

I uninstalled the game from Steam by deleting local content. Library>Installed>ToS>Delete Local Content

Place the Full 7GB TreeOfSavior Folder on Steam\steamapps\common

I did a full restart on steam. Run> steam://flushconfig

Then, i installed the ToS again. Run> steam://run/372000

I forced Steam to Discover existing files for Tree of Savior. xD

It saved me the whole day to download this game all over again. Phew~ xDD
