New player - Paladin Build

Class and Rank Cleric

Hi, I am new to the game and struggling to make money and level, have only played to rank 3 so far and don´t like my char.

This is not a guide, I want feedback from older players. Going melee build, I am thinking this:

Cleric 2 for Heal, Fade and Safety Zone attribute
Diev to save silver on teleport and have 1 physical attack
Paladin for Smite + Aura to save a bit on regen, plus barrier conviction and stuff
PD mainly good to status prevent status, but can heal and spread conviction
Inq for cause melee

Probably 4:1 Str/Con or Dex/Con

Do you veterans think this is good enough for leveling without spending to much on gear and hp/sp pots? Would Str or Dex fit better?

only get level 3 Restoration, put 1 in Turn Undead, EXTREMELY powerful skill.

because youre already Dievdirbys, you could go Cleric2>Diev2>(Monk3/Monk2>PD)>Inquisitor

Owl is super powerful, has highest base damage pre rank7, maning its the strongests skill in the game before rank 7, and it even does good damage at rank8

but conviction doubles God smash damage, and restoration increases heal.

take 3 poins out of Malleaus, put 1 in God smash and pear (maxing them) and put the other inside of Breaking wheel, your a Str Build, and it wont scale well
