New Player: Could you check if my AA/Support build is viable?

Hello there.

I’m a returning player and have a paladin, warlock and now I’m thinking on building an AA/Support class.
However, there are so many conflicting or outdated information out there that doesnt let me decide what I want.

I was thinking on this build for an Auto Attack + Support gameplay:

Cleric > Priest 3 > Chaplain > Diev > Kabbalist 3 > Probably Cleric 2.

For this build, i’d go mostly SPR with around 110 dex so my AA can hit hard enough with chaplain skills, but still mainting my major focus in supporting my team during CM or raids. What do you say?

You want inquis 1 somewhere in your build for the flames.

Your build is good for support, but a typical auto attack build is this:

Imo drop diev1 and get Inquisitor1. Inquisitor1 is needed for all cleric AA builds. Mainly for the flames and AA spread using Breaking Wheel.

Cleric2 > Priest3 > Chaplain > Kabbalist3 > Inquisitor1

With this you will gain some burst damage outside of AA too (but is only suitable for soloing) : Gevurah + Godsmash, the GG combo. In the upcoming inquisitor balancing patch, Godsmash is given 3 OH , ignores some armor defences, just nice coincide with Gevurah’s minimum 3 attribute = =+

AA Inquisitor is getting nerfed hard. Do not pick up inquis, your existing build is fine but is more support oriented.

I would say your best bet would actually be miko and PD1 instead of diev and c2. Or, since the miko quest will be rough on a new player, do c2 and PD1.

Thank you!

Could you guys tell me where those future changes patch notes are?
Another question, wouldnt oracle be mandatory? I read it somewhere they have a skill that would prevent my “tree of sephiroth” from being stolen.

Oracle is not mandatory; if anything, nobody goes oracle anymore.

The nerf to inquis flames isn’t too bad. They will give you a free rank reset voucher when the nerf comes so if you decide it’s not worth it you can always reroll out of it. For now, I would give inquisitor a try.

I disagree with Csiko on taking PD1. Inquisitor flames will at least proc your aspersion and extra auto lines (your main source of damage from chap) while PD will not.

You can find the patch notes referring to the nerf here:

While it is technically getting nerfed, multiple flames aren’t as useful in newer maps (outside of Spell Tome Town’s super cramped area). However, Inqui 1 is still incredibly useful for AA builds due to Wheel.

My current build is Priest 3, Chaplain, Krivis 3, Inqui 1, Zealot 1. If you have Frieno Set, using Immolation in a mob is literally the same as a free Wheel.

Maximum 3 Flames with 5 targets each. Attribute gets changed to level 1, remains at 20% proc rate, and doesn’t cost 20 mil to get. I think its 600k, but don’t quote me on that. It’s a lot cheaper though.

Cost of new Burn attribute is 660k. And yes Inquisitor is being balanced, in a good way. They aren’t as OP as before in CMs but it doesn’t mean that it isn’t good for AA builds.

Stop over-relying on a single attribute, it being balanced aren’t going to affect the class that much till the point it is unplayable.

So the rest costed attribute points will be returned to us?

Yep, they should return it to us.
