I see water, can we fish yet? xD
Just to clarify as some of my friends thought (and others might be thinking as well)
Klaipeda itself isn’t going to be renovated entirely, this is just an extension north of klaipeda.
I want a Housing System in ToS!
We could make a current of force to demand this from IMC
Would be pretty neat if they recycled Orsha and it’s areas, by increasing the level of all the maps by +300 or so.
Not sure how that would work with the area’s lore though, and reseting their quests for players, etc…
wonder where it would be, I mean will the whole thing will be replaced or just add that to the side of the city.
I hope we do someday xD
Next I wana see Roxana area retaken and rebuilt,by far that’ll be the biggest city/hub in the game with 4-5 zones.
Has there even been a korean made game outside Ro that has a episodic patch updates that moves the plot and shows effects changing the game’s world.
Hope we get a free dance gesture together with the new renovation of Klaipedia so we can dance around the new plaza.
When you feel that something is missing and balance is wrong, what news come from the developers? New cash costumes, new cubes from Leticias Cube that save you the ardurous grinding of materials and a new overwork for Klaipeda.
Never felt that the developement went more into the wrong direction…
Rank 9, more rebalancing, easier Hunting Grounds farming (at least back to the level of pre-balance where you actually got stuff for farming monsters)…
Very excited for the revamp.Coastal type towns are my favorite so this is nice to see,but it’d be cool to see other towns down the line with different themes as well.Snowy city, desert oasis camp, and perhaps a map in the clouds/sky are things that come to mind. Then again my imagination can be a bit extreme.
I also have wanted a fishing/housing/marriage system since day one. They may seem like smaller additions or cash magnets to some players, but to others it’s more ways to feel at home in a game and closer to other players.Hopefully the outfits are a foreshadow to some of this.
im hoping for new map environments.
thundery stormy maps would be nice and peaceful. i know we already have some but they dont set the mood right and the map is usually partly sunny which doesnt fit with the rain. they need to boost the intensity and add sound effects because i usually forget its even raining. also they should add rain drops hitting your screen like they did in mario 3d world.
they also eed to add more beachy maps, we had some around level 220 but it was only like 3 maps, i liked those maps.
we could also have some enchanted forests. but not like the ones with the owl statues, i cringe everytime i come to one i hate them so much idek why.
we could have some savannahs, or rocky mountains.
or maybe some more unique maps that are more themed, like a candy map.
and for the questing dungeons (tenet church, mage tower) im getting tired of the similar themes, maybe we could have a factory or a haunted house or something.
and btw hi melon havent seen u around!
Hey there! I’ve been lurking big time, but been playing the game a lot more the past month and a half.So back to posting
I totally agree.Weather effects with sound would be great, including an option to turn them off if people don’t care for it.It’d be cool if gusts of wind could effect you while running,or you could roll snowballs on a winter map.
I think just about all of the quest/monster maps blend together and that needs to change.Traveling merchants could be on maps [not every single one] and sell items to save you a trip back to town, random quests could trigger for random bonus items [emotes, tiny amount of TP,hair color,etc.].The weekend events on kToS would also help players here a good deal though I think that’s improving.
Uhh, I don’t know about you, but even back when RO still only have class 1, Izlude WAS one of the original cities, it’s the location for changing to Swordsman class.
(Geffen for Mage, Morroc Thief, negligible-one for Merchant, Payon Archer, Prontera Cleric)
ooh that gave me another idea, idk if its the same one you had.
but like world events.
there would be a new menu that shows all the world events happening at the moment and the rewards. and people would swarm to that map and do tasks like, leading spirits to a grave, collecting fragments and taking them to a crystal, fixing machines, killing a boss. and everyone who participated will get a rank and a reward for that rank. i remember this from rift actually i liked it even though i never participated lol.
@BeMagnificentt don’t we have weather in maps already
there are maps with storms, maps with snow, maps with rainbows, maps on a specific season…
.
.
.
That been said, they don’t affect you and for good reason…
it would be fun the first 5 times and then it would get annoying as it lose it wonder…
Very nice, new home for spammers!! It’s funny to think that this game is almost x years but gold seller spammers are still there and consistent that IMC can’t do anything about them.
Anyway can’t wait to see the spammers there soon
Izlude was my favourite town xD
The thing is that while this is nice in theory it doesn’t work that well in practise… players have to go there regularly so they slowly get sick of running around. It’s like the whole fast travel vs feeling like a real world thing. Having to run 30 minutes to get to the next town makes a world feel more realistic, but most players will eventually get sick of it because they don’t want to waste that time IRL. So 90% of players are going to choose “convenient” over “kinda inconvenient but pretty”.
OFC if you mean just having it as another town then yeah, that works xD But notice how your comment gets straight to the point… most people don’t like going to Orsha because doing things there is more of a hassle.
Oh yes, don’t get me wrong when I say “added”. Of course it existed before, but Izlude did not originally have a warp, which made it a secondary location as opposed to a major location. When it was given a warp it became the #1 major location due to its tiny size allowing for maximum laziness with shops/etc. It was “added” in a sense as a location because it was given a warp.
