Orsha is love, Orsha is life.
I like when the world evolves with the story, but on the other side its sad for those that never get to experience things how they were from the start and don’t know the weight of things…
This looks like it’ll just be a star. A big empty square in the middle and wheel spokes for all the various shops and things.
I’ll be really honest, that’s the blandest and most boring city design possible.
This is basically looks like it follows the design style of Izlude which got added to Ragnarok for lazy people that didn’t want to walk around the towns to visit shops/stalls. It was boring bland and horrible. And teeny tiny compared to the original cities the game had.
It’s so gamey. Give us real cities. Where do the people live? Fedimian and Orsha feel real, and so does the current Klaipeda even if it’s definitely below Orsha’s standard. Fedimian’s problem was always that it was a nice large city but everything was unnecessarily bunched together.
It looks so wet. My favorite.
Meanwhile, Fedimian stay on the dust.
There’s literally no reason to Fedimian exist, besides the 230 dg and de class npcs.
I will however acknowledge that I like the tease of new Premium Dance emotes that we don’t currently have. They are visible in the square dancing during the last second of the video.
does that means orsha will be morroc
no wait, that’s fedimian
EDIT: Also, klaipeda is the smallest city on the game already
I’m actually wholly expecting Orsha or Fedimian to become Morroc now. If they’re taking strong influences from RO (which you can see here) then destroying one of the other towns is going to happen.
My money is on Orsha. Since they removed the ability to use it as a starter city the entire Orsha questline needs to be redone. I expect it will be destroyed when they redo the Orsha starter quests.
What bothers me is that they probably looked at the data and decided Klaipeda is most popular due to traffic. But the real reason Klaipeda is most popular was because it was the city you could be the laziest with, because getting around it to the shops/warp/market was quick and easy. I prefer cities that we have to actually move around in, and the only reason I use Klaipeda is simply because it’s populous. I much prefer Orsha’s design with having to move around it. Feels like a proper town, and it had several different social spaces that were caused by the traffic flow moving through it.
they already did xD
all cities outside of started are destroyed
Fedimian only has it holy district somewhat intact that is where one warp to, but the city (Fedimian suburb) and market place are 100% destroyed
so are the other places up north
Destroying Orsha makes sense after pushing everybody to Klaipeda, but canonically Fedimian is closer to all the bullshit to the north. That is, Fedimian will get the ol’ Satan of Morroc treatment, and Orsha will be reimagined as the pyramid tents for the refugees of Fedimian.
I agree canonically, the further North you go the more utter destruction there is in the world.
The way I saw it was that Fedimian was the front line city, and Roxona was a bottleneck due to the mountains that was keeping things to the south somewhat defendable. Yes there were problems in the south, but not complete devastation like everything north of the Roxona Agency. Everything north of that is pretty much Demon/monster territory, while everything south of that is human territory.
They could easily have some sort of new threat attack human territory from the South East and engulf Orsha though.
Klai was the starting town from day1
@diane
Don’t get me wrong! I wasn’t saying that it wasn’t. Just that Orsha would be more popular if other towns in the game took equal amount of time to traverse.
If they’re going to have multiple cities in the game, then the travel time from the warp tower to the various shops/things should always be equal. Otherwise players will always use the location that is quickest/easiest as opposed to the location that is nicest.
i actually like orsha because everything is at the center. in klaipeda i have to run alllll the way down a set of stairs to get a repair or market or anything, and in orsha its basically at the warp statue. hope this klaipeda revamp fixes that. orsha is also less crowded an i usually lag a bunch on klaipeda. but klaipeda usually has more player shops
from the Adventure Journal
it was labeled as Kirren Province before
now:
world map from database tos.neet.tv
I see water, can we fish yet? xD
Just to clarify as some of my friends thought (and others might be thinking as well)
Klaipeda itself isn’t going to be renovated entirely, this is just an extension north of klaipeda.
I want a Housing System in ToS!
We could make a current of force to demand this from IMC
Would be pretty neat if they recycled Orsha and it’s areas, by increasing the level of all the maps by +300 or so.
Not sure how that would work with the area’s lore though, and reseting their quests for players, etc…
wonder where it would be, I mean will the whole thing will be replaced or just add that to the side of the city.
I hope we do someday xD
