New Info Aug 10, 2016: YELLOW-EYED FLOWER PETAL

Ok, so I got the flower after 66 hours… Of those 66 hours, I spent 27 of them swapping servers, watching Star Trek and reading everything there was to know about the 'Yellow-Eyed Flower Petal. I have learned A LOT about it’s spawn, where they spawn, and most importantly… HOW to get it to spawn… YES… I THINK… I am about 80% sure I figured out HOW to get it to spawn.

I won’t bore you with bs… Let’s get to the best part…
DO NOT SWITCH CHANNELS!!! I spent 27 hours straight, swapping channles… I talk to one person who stayed on the same channel… ch1 for 9 hours, and they finally got it to spawn. --But wait, there is more… I spend 10 hours on channel 2 and BAM it spawns on ch2.

What’s that mean?

Look at it this way… You have 4 channels it can spawn on. if you camp ONE channel you have a 25% chance to get the flower… a 1 in 4 chance. The odds of that guy, and myself camping a channel for roughly 9-10 hours and getting it to spawn on OUR channel… well… the odds are so slim…

How can you be sure?

Well how many posts on these forums say that they picked the flower RIGHT NEXT to someone who had been AFK??? Countless… that’s how many… I’m not saying “IT’S IMPOSSIBLE” to find it swapping channels… but EVERY person I’ve spoken to, stayed on ONE channel. That can’t just be luck.

I found my flower at 9:30 AM est (8/10/16), on Orsha - ch2. It was exactly where you’ve seen it in every photo. BUT! It can spawn in the grass.

IT’S POSSIBLE TO FIND!! DO NOT SWITCH CHANNELS, STICK TO THE SAME CHANNEL AND BE PATIENT. EVEN IF YOU SEE OTHERS HOPPING AROUND FROM CHANNEL TO CHANNEL, DO NOT BE TEMPTED!!

I had 4 people stalking my channel at one point… I waited them out… they all left eventually. Be patient. I promise you… if you are attentive to your screen, and you STAY ON ONE CHANNEL, that b*tch will spawn.

DO–NOT–SWAP!!!
Let’s put this theory to the test!!!

Kind of a small sample size…I got mine by logging in on my alt every few hours and cycling through the channels, one day when I switching through channels it was just there, no one else around.

What I can believe is the flower maybe needing someone on the map to spawn, kind of like a world boss.

Extremely likely, considering that’s how world bosses work. If the channel is empty they won’t spawn.

… Tell you what just camp at channel 1 dont hop channels just watch movies while waiting dont bother changing channels as it always spawns at channel 1 well, thats how it worked for my 2 shinobis both got their flower at channel 1 by just camping lol and i wonder if you’ll even believe that i got the scroll and the flower on the same day on my first shinobi it only took me a few hours of waiting, while my other shinobi got his scroll when i was about to do mercenary missions and spent 6 hours of movie marathon while waiting for the flower :kissing_heart: , guess i was meant to become a shinobi after all eh?

@Noobz by scroll… did you mean the “Empty Scroll” found near the pots beside the entrance to the Mercenary Post? If yes, then I have been a d*ck for all this time. All my characters have it, I just thought to interact with it since it’s there. Sorry, I guess? :sweat_smile:

ya thats the one bro! it also has a spawn time with three different locations all inside a jar in fedimian but its quite easier to get because everyone goes to fedimian for missions lol oh and once you’re rank 6, and if you’re on mouse mode you’ll see an indicator if its in one of those jars im not sure if it has an indicator on keyboard or controller mode as i only play on mouse mode rofl!

btw you should try making a shinobi if what you’re saying is true i think the shinobi gods is calling you to our side :imp:

I have a Lv280 Oracle1, 225 Oracle 2, 162 C2-K3, 68 A1-Q2, never touched the swordsman class before though. By all I meant the two Oracles, and the one Chaplain-Monk I had before which I deleted.

I just feel bad for stealing someone’s possible quest requirement. >.<

And hearing about just how hard it is to get that Flower, I’m scared.

coming from those classes, i guess you should stay away from swords atm and wait for better class balances to come as you’ll really feel how underpowered swords are

Definitely false. :frowning: I have had 3 others with me for 24hrs +, and no spawn.

Just found it. 2:30 AM server time, ch2, Klaipeda server. :slight_smile:

Been checking on and off an hour or two a night for about a week.

Ok now I have to pick up this flower.
I have to wait 9-10 hours near the spot?

Can I stay afk or I have to get away for let it spawn?

It will spawn even if you are near there, so you could afk there and it will spawn.
haha i suggest what I’m currently doing.

if you are not yet sleepy, continue rotations:

if you are sleepy, install a autohotkey and use this code:

this will issue a spacebar key (to pick up stuff) every 6 seconds so if it spawns on your channel, you could still pick it up even if you are asleep. pressing F9 again stops this

FEDIMIAN 10:42 AM it spawned CH1!

I’m waiting since almost 6hrs.
I was sit on the Mango thing.

I got mine when I was still playing is less than 30 minutes, there was no one afking at the channel it spawned and I was swapping channels every 5 minutes, it was ~4 months ago tho.
