Tuesday night on the first day of this new GVG season and my guild’s record is mysteriously 0:2 with sub-1000 MMR. Being that we haven’t actually played any matches yet, how is this possible unless—shocker—the GVG ranks on Klaipeda are still messed up?
Why even reintroduce GVG is you can’t get even that right? Does this happen on the other server? This has occurred on Klaipeda on and off since GVG came out, how can this continue to go on for as long as it has even though you had nearly a month to fix it?
I don’t even have the words. So even if a guild queued every day for the “new” season and won both matches each day, they don’t have a shot at winning. The rewards are awful but some people just like being seen as number 1.
Maybe I’m an outlier, but I really just don’t want GVG back until it’s functional. There is nothing interesting to do at level cap, a functional GVG system would only grow this game and it’s so depressing to see that it’s being handled this way.
Looks like they forgot to reset stuff (or add new entry) related to GvG rankings in the database.
That, or going forward it will be like this if they somehow forgot to include in the reintro update to reset rankings (or start a new entry) after each season.
Don’t complain, last time they reset the ranks they broke GvG entirely.
Kidding.
I expected at least any improvement from GvG. Seems it was taken down intentionally to change rewards instead of because of problems. Some friends even saw GMs going online right after GvG was broken, starting to think the person was right on thinking that it was for removing TP rewards and the GM was simply checking if GvG was really down.
It can’t even be called “New GvG format” since everything is the same. Only rewards were changed and to be given out manually, that means, nothing was changed code-wise for the GvG thus nothing to be called new.
Secretly wishes the system is so broken that it gives TP rewards automatically again by accident.

I appreciate a fast response, but I prefer one with information. You tell me to submit a ticket, and their response is effectively a non-response. I have many concerns, but filling your inbox with tickets isn’t going to alleviate those concerns.
We want to be able to trust that you will correct issues quickly but we have no evidence of you doing that. We believe this game has so much potential that we continue to play it despite so many glaring flaws. Please don’t brush us aside. Prove to us that you can fix these issues timely (not months later), gain our respect, and we will reward you with a loyal playerbase.
