New gem PVP - Times are horrible, again

NEW Gemstone Feud

  • Gemstone Feud is a new PvP game mode where you compete for points which you can exchange for useful items.
  • You can enter the Gemstone Feud with characters of level 350 and above that aren’t included in a party (press F6 to check your Party info).
  • The Gemstone Feud opens 4 times per day. You can enter the Feud map on the following schedule (server time):
    10:00-10:10 14:00-14:10 18:00-18:10 22:00-22:10

IMC, why do you hate people on the East Coast USA so much?

10-10:10 - School/Work
14-14:10 - School/Work
18-18:10 - Work, most full time workers are coming home at 18:00, can’t queue
22-22:10 - TOO LATE, also interrupts TBL

What are you thinking? The only time East Coast players can participate is 10pm at night, and now we have to choose between this and TBL. Why?

Why are you so afraid to put PVP content at 9pm? What is the problem with 9pm?

Double-post with some suggestions:

Why is PVP content gated by time anyways? Why isn’t it like this:

  • Open PVP for both Gemstone PVP and TBL at ALL TIMES.
  • Show the number of people sitting in the queue on the pop-up menu, so players can queue when other people are playing!
  • Stop gating your PVP content at specific times! People have schedules and lives!
  • Allow queuing from any map, so people can farm equipment and play the game while they wait!!!

Cmon IMC, this is basic stuff.

Times in EU are way worse, half of them are in the early morning (12am and 4am CEST).

Hi @Remiri as I mentioned to @Anikk in another post, we did try to take all of the servers into consideration when scheduling the Gemstone Feuds. And I am sorry to hear that player will have to pick between this and TBL :sob:
I will pass on your feedback, but I do hope that you will participate during a time that suits you best.

I would recommend doing surveys of each server prior to releasing this content so you can at least know you are supporting the majority of the player base.

How else would you take the servers into consideration?

My apologizes, the Gemstone Feud times are meant to be set according to each servers regional times. We will be updating the times today in game and on the patch note announcement.

Now can you just make TBL 7pm - 9pm & 10pm - 12pm? Love you

no one plays from 4pm-6pm on East or West Coast. At least 7-9 would give East Coasters some love.
