New Fps UI ( plain useless )

A FPS counter is fine - usefull and needed especially in TOS.

But why on earth do I need a printout of the millisecond number of 1 frame.
I could calcuate that myself if needed ( but I simply don’t).

First I thought it would be something usefull and constantly show me the ping to the server from //ping, but no - just another useless distraction on my screen…

idk, mine matches with //ping… 0,066 == 6.6, no?

Nope it always shows exactly the ms of 1 frame

FPS 144.19 (6.92 ms)

1000ms(1s) /144.19 (fps) = ~6,92ms

my ping is way above 30 ms always since I use a DSL / LTE Hybrid connection - 6,92 ms is not possible.

why the ■■■■ are you complaining about that…

can I please have all your passwords, so I can kill you, posses your body and get your compu?_?

oh! noo might as well call the police, such criminal ping…

come on let’s trade houses and ■■■■…

just download download the add-on that removes the fps from view and it will prob remove ping too if it bothers you that much…

you didn’t even understand at all what I wrote

I want the FPS counter but I don’t need it converted into a ms digit ( useless²)

and I want a ping counter too , but they just implented a ms version of my fps which has nothing to do at all with ping ( I know that you don’t understand that because you probably didn’t even finish elementary school)

please educate yourself before posting your unfunny internet meme ■■■■ again.

The education thing is probably why I have a decent computer (144 fps is far from good anyways) and you play on your sh.itbox.

Just to clarify to you.

If your //ping gives you 0.066 means you have a latency to the server equals to 66ms.

Anything below 70ms for this game is barely noticeable. I’d say even up to 100ms would be barely noticeable.

Problems begin when you go above 150ms.

OP is QQing about the frame update latency that is now displayed after the update. That actually has nothing to do with connectivity latency.

Honestly OP, this is such a small thing for you to complain about that I feel bad for you. I do agree that a ping meter would be better but, eh…

nope it isn’t

because the whole problem with the game starts there

we want a ping meter because posting //ping in laggy situations to get clarification if it is an internet problem or a computer problem is just annoying and most of the time too late already. ( still low prio , game has more important things to fix)

we get a latency of the framerate meter ( has to be programmed + implented) - has no use at all & nobody asked for it

Communication between community & developers is flawed.

Fine, so you want a ping meter. Cool.
That doesn’t mean the game is now ruined because of the Frame update meter.

I think you’d be better off just suggesting this without baiting people into thinking this is the end of ToS just because of a single UI change.

If you really care that much about it there was an addon to hide it.

I know that there is an addon, I don’t want it - a fps counter is fine - the new addition is utterly useless and annoying.

I just started a thread in the feature part of the forum about a new implented feature , that has no use at all, and was a waste of programming recources.

There was no the game is ruined talk because of it, no baiting , no the end is near talk at all.

people go apeshit and are offended

/toxic community.
:joy:

I kinda agree with OP. It is unnecessary and also a bit distracting. A ping counter would make much more sense. Glad that OP brought this up.

You’re the one defending this idea like it would solve the game’s problem. No one said it’s not something they shouldn’t add. People are merely pointing out the level of importance of the issue you brought up.

Your idea is not being bashed. Just deal with it mate. Make the suggestion and follow it up. No need to talk like it’s the most important thing in the world. They’ll choose what’s priority anyways. lol
