Thatâs so, for now. Maybe itâs just the negative impression left by past experiences with ToS.
But early announcements like these tend to subject to change till the said patch comes out, where players can confirm the contents, or a Staff/GM properly confirms it here.

IKR~, normally in other games itâs 10lvls per chest/cube/box.
-lvl 10 characters can get lvl10 box
-box contains rewards + lvl20 box
-lvl20 box can be opened once character reaches lvl 20
-lvl20 box contains rewards + lvl30 box
-so on and forth.
-event boxes can be opened after getting to certain levels
-capped characters can keep popping open till their last box for rewards.
Usually thatâs how it goes, but the descriptions in the event page is as confusing as ever.

As for players with lv330, your event is just talking to the board to get 120tp, which probably takes like 3 seconds. So much fun.
So much for those guys wanting a reset at hand to avoid any case of getting IMCed in future balance patches.
Imo, instead of providing one measly consumable(per account), IMC should just reset all characters stat/skills points at major patches(eg. R9), and have the reset potions in the TP shop for limited time after re-balancing patches to avoid flames.
Better have critics than bitter players turned haters.
And have them [IMC] miss out on that sweet, sweet and highly expected TP purchase influx? I think not. 
Rerolling ins`t fun / In a game whit 2.500 players across 5 servers (yeah 5, Orsha is already dead) Rerolling is almost impossible (casual/new player). -20% pb in March sadly.
Yes, thereâs a portal for each specific hunting ground map from where you can enter it, as far as Iâm aware there is no limits or anything.
Well this is a level up event why would you expect anything else for max level characters. The whole purpose of these events is to encourage new characters and new players, I think itâs nice enough there is some kind of reward for those who reached max level.
Donât think itâs any different in other games, they might even specifically require a new character to be able to participate, glad it doesnât in this case.
I dont think I know any game that use level up event as itâs major event. Almost every game has level up event but they usually run as a side event, and usually run in parallel with another major event. In short 2 events on the same time.

Making new characters to undergo the leveling process over and over again is all TOS has to offer 
Each dumb balancing patch in this game almost ensures that players will either reroll or reset at one point.
âLimited time offerâ works wonders, also they can put a âreasonableâ price tag on it, at the same time itâs in the TP shop IMC can also add other items together with it in a âspecial bundleâ(lol EA).
Whoever is in IMCâs marketing head surely shows their color that they only want instant cash and not long term investment.

I donât mind we canât trade with other accounts, but at least make it tradable in the team storage, I do have a Pard that need a stat reset real badly and 2 other chars need skill reset.

Most of us will probably only aim to level up on char to XXX level to get the 10th chest. It would be nice if itâs server storage-able to give it to the needy character.
IMCâs CCU (con-current user) count definitely took a nose-dive when RO (Revelation Online) went Open Beta a few days ago. This is why this event is so sudden. They need to drive that number up, what better way to artificially do that than to have tons of people logged in at the same time, for extended periods of time due to an event.
BTW: This is not to throw shade at IMC, this is just how these businesses are âmonitoredâ and âassessedâ.

Yea if we take that RO open beta into account, their sudden decision can be explained. Iâm not sure how many players will return to ToS just for a levelling event thoughâŚYou see all those bugs and exploits are still here. I just cant imagine why would those players come back to get IMCâed all over again.
