Will rank8 be added with the next schedule maintenance?

It would be nice but it sounded like they were still working out a few bugs with the update. I’m guessing it will come a week or two after this current event which is supposed to help us “prepare” (level).

I’d rather for them to wait and work out as many bugs as possible before it goes live. Eventually, I hope ToS releases a test server as this would not only speed up the process but let us catch bugs that may only be caught as they go live… Which is what I assume they hope to prevent the most.

Do agree with yer on this statement… some mmo’s like WoW ,ESO, KR BnS etc. have test servers where they patch in new content and allow players to test to see if it runs smoothly.
Usually the let the PTS run with the new update last for about 2 weeks or longer to see if everything goes well…
This way they can easily pinpoint and fix bugs/exploits while also balancing any major/minor changes in the game mechanics(Example:maybe and OP skill which is not meant to 1shot)…
Though i don’t know about their budget… let alone where the money the consumers went~ plus the decreasing of channels…

It worked well on iRO, though there was one major bug I can think of that slipped through. And people enjoyed the test server so much, they ended up having to close it periodically and wipe everything out. A whole little community formed on Sakray.
This could even be a way for people to test out builds and they wouldn’t be able to complain on official that they thought it looked good on paper and… well, wasn’t.
You’re right though, it would all depend on their budget. If this game plans to stick around for a long time, which I hope it will, then perhaps we’ll see it in the future.
