New Elemental Additional Damage options to keep on par with physical/magic builds

So, as you know there are multiple builds out there and 99% of them use Magic or Physical damage, even tho they may have an element for compatibility purposes. However we have next to no options to enhance pure elemental builds, those based on additional elemental damage and multiple lines.

Situation:

  • The best elemental set is still PoraPore, a lv 75 rings set. It’s also the only one with scalings, as both the stacking and damage scale to your character. Options created in the past two years were all inferior to it, the likes of Frieno and the recent Velcoffer acessory set.

  • Porapore only works on physical attacks which denies it being an option for Enchanters for an example, while working wonderfully well for Clerics.

  • We got many big multipliers for physical and magic builds recently with new class attributes, revamped buffs and the new to be introduced enchanted (golden) stats. Stuff like +10% subweapon damage or +22.5% missile attacks damage. NOTHING for pure elemental builds.

  • Cards work the same as above, as there’s the like of glassmole (+10% physical attack) and the likes of Vubbe Fighter (+10% damage to Beast type monsters) and none of these affect the pure elemental builds. There are +100 [element] add. damage cards but those are not only using low values, they also go on the utility slot (purple) instead of being red cards. Thus they compete with other useful options while we still have nothing Red to use.

TLDR: Pure elemental builds have been forgotten for two years and tho it’s a great and fun mechanic working in the game, we are starting to fall too far behind in options. Please remember I’m talking about the additional pure elemental damage, not elemental skills or stuff.

Suggestions:

  • On the new enchant (golden) stats add Additional Elemental Damage as an option. We are talking about a player choosing up to 1k holy additional damage instead of 15% weapon damage for an example, does anyone think it would be OP? Nope. Someone could give up on a lot of raw damage, crit, defense and even pvp stats for as little as 6k elemental damage (1k of each element), that’s my suggestion.

  • Necklaces that give elemental damage and can be upgraded in that aspect, like Agny. Of course with updated values, a +40 Agny gives 300 fire damage which is too little for today’s standards.

  • Update the add. elemental damage cards for higher values and bring them to the Red category.

  • Add a porapore equivalent option for magic damage users, but make sure it only works on basic attacks like the Enchanter’s Lightning Hands. Otherwise it could easily be abused by many wizard builds as they have too many dot options (imagine Pyro/WL/similar builds stacking and getting this buff like crazy, as they are already dominant classes).
