Class and Rank Cleric

as of right now all we know is
shepherd
lama
macumbeiro
zealot
taoist
fortune teller
so what do you think each class’ role will be and synergize with?
i think
shepherd - melee dps or support class or ranged (?) wiki says its melee but scales off of spr so it might be support bcuz only classes that do scale with spr are preist and chaplain/paladin.
zealot- maybe a dps class, melee and death theamed
fortune teller - most likely ranged, support most likely with a small chance of dps
macumbeiro - definately ranged dps (we dont have many of those for cleric) and synergy with bokor
lama - melee dps, synergy with monk
taoist - support ranged (confirmed bcuz this was originally a wiz class and ful lname is taoist PRIEST)

wut do u guys think these class’ roles will be?

IMO Shepherd will be a companion based class. Only think I can feel sure about.

Except that fortune teller will probably be bad when it comes out. We already have oracle that predicts things so fortune teller will come with some kind of weird chance based or prediction based mechanic and people won’t be sure if it’s really bad, really good, or just weird.

Maybe Fortune Teller is the hidden class for Oracle, kinda like Chaplain is for Priest, I might be wrong tho.

i really dont like oracle that much,so i dont see me ever going fortune if it is a hidden class

I wouldn’t be too sure in that. But I actually expect all of these quite unique…so from that point of view… hell knows… I think the main theme of lama is meditation…so maybe I expect more support I guess… but it still didn’t exclude that it could be a melee support so…dunno…XD

I’m still hoping for dancing skills. …and expect some woodoo like things.

That is 100% imo. We saw a picture of it with a Shepherd dog… So i actually think it is not melee and not ranged… As you said it is companion based.

I still doubt it. For me that sounds like a downgrade… I know I’m maybe weird but while they have similarities I don’t think they are THAT similar.

I love Fortune Teller’s outfit (both male and female) so if it would fit my build…that would be awesome.

It was a bit questionable for a wizard but I still can’t take it for sure if that is a cleric now… I mean why was it a wizard? I only will be sure in that class if we get it haha…

taoist was changed in the files from wiz to cleric

and lama is a buddhist monk

macumbeiro might have dancing skills and will have voodoo

Well it could be also changed back easily… We don’t know why they changed it.

…and about lama… I know I just mean it won’t be necessarily that offensive. Buddhism has a lot of stuff in it so who knows…

That wasn’t changed to Cleric…YET… But we can accept it anytime. :3

all i really want for cleric is an inquisitor and pharoh class
they would bothe go with cleric bcuz inquisitor is catholic and pharoh is historic
