New Clean Install Of steam, Tos, cant connect-resolved-

Isp implemented Router Caching for http requests on the gateway, somehow the patch file name or pack was not updated in cache and i was downloading an old version, instead of new one, every other single program/game has not had this kind of issue.

Thats why it worked with vpn, becuase to the cache it was a “new” file.

Everything works perfectly now.

SO after todays maint, 04/25/2017 i got ipf errors at startup, knowing addons might cause this, i decide to uninstall TOS, and then go into the steamapps/common and delete everything tos related, even “download” folder

i reinstall the game, and when i click connect nothing happens, friends tell me the game is up

so i do steam client verify, and when the game enters, and i click connect, a black screen comes up

so yeah… what now?

Reinstalling a third time, with a friends account, No firewall on this system or any change from last night

gonna try a vpn too, becuase it seems as if the server just doesnt repond at all, but doesnt give any error as well, prolly something on my isp/end about dns changes from maint.

FIXED: Turns out there is something wrong with steam/content servers/imc because when i used the tunnelbear VPN to open the game it downloaded a patch that wasnt availble without the vpn, it didnt log into the game using the vpn, but after disabling the vpn the game worked fine

tldr: a NEW PATCH would not download without the vpn, after patching all works now, imc/cloudflare/steam issues??

edit: i do not use vpn to play, i only used it to see if there was another patch that my isp/steam/game launcher/servers didnt see on my regular connection.

Steam just had manint, and the ipf damaged error ocurred, it got fixed until i updated client using vpn again :sigh:

every time i open the game, i get ipf files error, only if i open the game with vpn, repatch , then i can enter normally (without vpn)
