I believe it is for advertising their site, and show that they did extract it.
if it where to protect the images against copy they probably wouldn’t put it at the corner.
@Yuki_
Fair point.
@Corsair being utility.
Well, aside(?) from the cancel ability, all their other skills seem to serve as self-support, utility augmentation or are utility on their own.
- Double weapon (offensive… utility? it’s not direct damage)
- Steal (utility)
- Chest (utility)
- Hook (support)
- Flag (support…?)
- Keel (not sure, but it is a follow-up for a utility skill)
Technically everything it has other than the chain-pulling skill (which is still partial utility, assuming the-
-damage is decent) is indirect in terms of damage and act more as support.
(some of them being self-support)
Even if you discard that notion (I guess Priest isn’t support, because 5/7 ‘attack’ skills.), you’re left with 3/6 skills being a form of utility.
I can accept this but then druid rly should be utility too imo.
Btw maybe I misunderstand it because I don’t rly get what did you say about Priests. Priest is one of the most supportive classes of all clerics without doubt. Blessing and Sacrament are not attack skills and some of the others are buff/attack too not simple attack skills. The only real attack skill of Priests is Exorcise.
IMC might know better then us we don’t know whats in ring 2 and 3 of druid. They might already know.
Yeah that’s true but on the other hand I think the skills we have now on circle 1 with druid are not all circle 1 skills because druid already has 6 skills while some of the other classes have only 6 with 3 circles… but who knows. We will see.
well 6 is not much a of a stretch look at sorcerer also some of the 1st classes have 5 skills at circle 1
Alchemist has 7 skills right now … definitely not all are circle 1. So I’m expecting the same for Druid.
I wonder why Krivis and Paladin have almost the exact same icon, and at first I thought one of them is Dievderby because they can actually make a wooden sculpture that looks exactly like the symbol.
@Ayalon
I mean that if we were to claim Corsair’s damage boosting skills as ‘not utility’ because they boost damage… that would in turn be claiming Priest isn’t support because a majority of their skills are also damage boosting skills.
There doesn’t seem to be much reason to the separation of support / utility unless this some how contributes to the hidden classes?
Historically known reasons for having class separation by roles.
- Improved clarity for newcomers to have rough impressions.
- Possible preparation for role auto-sorting for future raids/dungeons. (still too simple right now)
- Stuff.
The reason why anything is done is almost irrelevant to me, I’ll leave it here.
With how Druid is right now, it’s definitely built to be a damage dealing class from experience. It’s only real party utility is Sutorea-Tropez, and even then the spell is made as a self AoE. Shape Shifting and Transform are just self-buffs with their attribute (+ATK, Max HP or EVA based on form), and Chortasmata’s main utility is to set up your other spells. Druid’s skills are primarily all focused on buffing yourself to deal more damage.
If you were to compare it to Krivis, Krivis has only one damage spell which is Zaibas. Zalciai, Divine Stigma, Aukuras, Daino and Melstis are all party buffs meant to support others, including yourself. This is where the distinction lies.
I compared it more to Corsair… and yeah Corsair has that totally not combat related unlock chest and the just slightly combat related steal… I dunno… There is Wugushi too that is a debuff-offensive class but yeah debuffs can be quite supportive too in a way…I can accept that too… I just felt like Druid is more like these too. I actually think the classes just can’t really be labelled like this because most of them more than that.
Anyway maybe you are right and they still chose the closest one to every class so whatever… It just felt a bit strange to me.
IMO they categorized each according to skill set, anyway, with some creativity we still could forgo the path of our own liking.
B> info skills and quest for Fencer class
I wonder if it’s a rank 6 seeing how the rest are arranged by rank and they stuck the logo between the other rank 6’s.
Cool symbol,and i can see monk have good symbol too
I liked the old ones better. Not really a fan of the glossy toylike stuff
