Anyone who gets caught by sleep is either one of the following:
- Half aslept IRL
- AFK
- A dumbass
But other than that, It’s really easy to dodge.

You don’t like others character so you ask for nerfs. This is the kind of BS that make all those wow copies so crappy. Then i will ask for nerfing your character if it’s good for something.
Make a wizard and problem resolved.

Well from the looks of it the OP could roll a wiz 3 with maxed out sleep and it wouldn’t really make a big difference. He’ll just be back here complaining because scouts can go stealth or because PDs have cc dampening abilities.
i agree, alot of things need to be nerf in wizard class…also not to forget archers…

Hey, please look at any of the other wizard c1 and c2 spells and tell me they aren’t absolute rubbish. Coukd you leave alone the one spell that we’ll still use (surespell is helpful got it) at and after wiz c3 or any cryo/pyro mixes.
Also, plenty of broken pvp mechanics. Its use in pve is nice, please leave it alone.
If u got hit while asleep u ll wake up, it’s kinda impossible to hit kill an swordsman, unless u ar one of those full dex builds. And i’m a fletcher btw.
You don’t understand the commitment of a wizard getting a high level of sleep. It’s not just PVP, it’s PVE and saves lives. You will thank a wiz with Sleep on your team somewhere down the long road.
It helps us wizzies level because we are pretty damn glass and we can’t just GUNGHO it like swordies. Maybe swordies should get their hp nerfed so they are forced to play more carefully instead of running around with more hp, and blowing mobs away with a couple of hard strikes. Kiting and dodging is a wizards play style.
And leveling a wizard is a slow and hard grind until we get to C3, don’t complain about our CC mechanics, or our big AOE skills. If you think sleep is bad, then you wait until you get stopped, slowed, teleported, raised, pyskoed, walled, frozen, burned, hit by a meteor, etc… Barbarians don’t really stand a chance against any form of CC :p. Good luck trying to hit us though.

Its actually quite fkn funny. I had a 1v1 wizard same lv as myself yesterday and they used sleep & frozen repeatedly. But when I dodged the spells they were pretty fked and after they ran out of juice I proceeded to shove my foot up their @rse.
Wizards are very far from Overpowered. In fact in many lower level aspects they could use a boost. This coming from a cleric that has the worst crowd control, aoe and single target dmg in the game.

Dude, you can instant cast it, but there is still cast animation before the sleep came out.
You need to git gud if you can’t dodge that. It’s been forever since a wizard’s sleep ever land on me without other CC.
Yes, you will have a slight hard time to get to C3 in 1 day or 2 day, but you will have it super easy compared to swordsman at later days, so I wouldn’t call it slow and hard.
The number 2 PVP player is a swordsman. It seems to me most people don’t even know how to control their character instead of class balance.
Archer is extremely strong in PVE, perhaps that’s why they are not as strong in PVP. The PVP build of wizard basically is useless in PVE by comparison though.
It take at 17 hits to wake up, so basically you are dead once you are slept.
But again, it’s so easy to avoid the sleep so you deserve to lose if you got hit.
Try fighting archer and get permastunt lol

Omg Cyro is not useless in PVE, their Xmas Tree is soooooo good in gathering up mobs >.<!

In comparison. Let’s say you have a Peltasta, Healer, and a Chrono 3/Linker. Do you want an ele 3 Warlock, or do you want a cryo/kino in your party?
A well geared ele 3 Warlock can solo grind in even Maven Abby, can a cryo kino do that?
They are not completely useless. It’s just that CC is not that useful compare to support skill that increase DPS, or actual DPS skill, in PVE.
Maybe it’s different in ET, but there’s a reason why everyone is picking up ele 3 Warlock for that.
the problem is you want the best dps mage class for your pt, not psycho or cryo do bad in pve.
it’s not like every time you can get your ideal pt
your given situation suggest that team lack dps so pick ele3 is going to win anyway.
if given situation already have 3 ele3 + healer in your team will you pick another ele3 or cyro/kino or tank? another ele3 will increase dps with casualties due to lower survivability. imo i put cyro/kino and tank in same category.
That’s a even rarer condition. But yeah, cryo kino can be useful in pve, but in much lesser situation due to how you want to clear the mob faster for more exp.
Also, getting a peltasta is much better than cryo kino in that condition. The problem with PvP class is that you can always have another class that outperform them during pve, except maybe some very rare cases.
