After this “wonderful” maintenance, several accounts were blocked during the period of 4 to 7 days, due to the IMC (what inconvenience) we will lose time of events, token, runs of dugeons, among other things.
When a bug affects a small part of the players, they take the blame and instead of fixing it because they are FEW PLAYERS, they keep it that way, and give a compensation. Now when a bug affects ALL SERVERS in general they blame the players and penalize us for Lack of ability to program the game correctly.
I’m simply astounded with such a lack of ability to handle a game as IMC does (it even manages to outgrow LUG)
I do not intend to play seriously again a game that treats as trash who brings profits to them.

I want to say this once and for all for everyone who reads this
If you are playing Tree of savior seriously you belong in three categories
- You’re an idiot
- You’re sick (masochism, escapism, depression, or any other number of things I’m not a doctor)
- You are part of a very specific small minority of which really enjoy the game seriously (No problem, Carry on)
The game has no respect for the time of the average person. Not surprising because it’s also intended for mobile audiences where you’re given ridiculous time demands to shortcut through via micro-transactions.
The game has systems that expect you to log in everyday or fall substantially behind your peers. Which isn’t a big deal if you check your ego until it becomes a problem of being able to play amongst your peers. (Was an even bigger issue as a mage when you were dealing 1 damage until you gear the hell up).
The DPK system is out of whack which is funny because Kim calls this a casual game but casual players know progression in multiple facets is slow as molasses. Now they’re subjectively determining what is and isn’t abuse.
People don’t care that I got the 12 oghma gauntlents as I’ve mentioned before while questing in Alemeth.
They would’ve back at R7 but now at r8 they don’t care. They care about BB’s and HG 315 weapons. They won’t care about these things come R9 but for now it’s a big issue to tear down their fellow player for another one of IMC’s many, many mishandling of things. Mistakes happen but these devs have a very slow response time to problems.
Now players get jerked around on a fairly subjective ordeal. Bottom line is drops were gotten, on basically any field type map but they’re blocking people based off what, the current popular value items amongst the community? All the other drops that were gotten are ignored?
Some tripe ass subjectivity going on here.

You guys sure love to talk more than your mouth can handle huh? The server get a bug, several people know and start to abuse.
Now when the company decide to do a fast fix to it you people complain.
Yesterday when hell broke loose because of the abuse there was people here with stones in hand throwing at IMC again because they wanted IMC to punish who abused the bug.
Now they gave a generous compensation (and no, I’m not being sarcastic) and you people still complain?
I said this on another thread, if it was me there I wouldn’t give anything, and to add more fuel to the fire, I would ban permanently, that way whoever decided to go gung ho into the bug train would at least learn a few thing or two (which I highly doubt).

Well I would hope they use better accuracy if they were to perma ban anyone, considering my 2 week old account with a lv 100 char got flagged…
Generous compensation? For who ? I have all my chars 317+, just opening mystical cubes, what would I do with EXP tomes, reset vouchers, multiply tokens?
They did 3 consecutive events for NEW players and UP, meanwhile a total of 0 events for old players was done

If you read the announcement in the main page, it says clearly Ongoing.
So even if one got an unfair ban, I’m sure they are still reviewing the situation, but then again, since lots, I said lots, of people abused, you can be sure that it will be the same as being punished with others, because IMC have a limited amount of people do deal with this.
I’m not taking their side completely, they could simple leave the suspicious ones “free” temporary while investigating and apply the punishment when necessary.
But be honest with me, the correct thing to be done in this case is:
- One is playing normally when one notice that something is wrong with the drop rate.
- One wonder if it’s a bug or just luck, a patch can’t be since the maintenance was 3 days ago.
- Normally, one would come to the forum (I remember I saw one saying in a joke way in the General Forum) and report or at least ask from the staff for more info.
- And finally a staff member would say if it was intended or not.
I know the situation above is almost impossible or unreal to happen, people is ■■■■■■■ greed and won’t lose any opportunity to earn even more, even in a video game.

I pretty much can be locked today or tomorrow or the next few days since I was inside the HG during the issue, I didn’t got ■■■■ all, only a few silver (probably around 50k) and a bunch of Black Shaman Doll Cores and Vubbe Tokens.
Then what? Do I have right to cry about being blocked? No I don’t, I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Just as when people where arriving. It seems this might kill the motivation for players to play again.
Well considering I’m a new player I have no idea what drop rates are suppose to be, for the last few days all I’ve done is go area to area doing all quests and killing enough monsters to get my journal count and no more. I wouldn’t have a clue if the drop rate is abnormal or not because I’m just killing 100 or so at a time and that’s it
All I said was I do hope if they were to perma ban any account they take much more care in that decision than how accounts were flagged
True, that is why I pointed out that they at least should let “free” the suspects while investigating and punish when finding proof.

If you were taking advantage of the obviously ■■■■■■ up drop-rate, then you should have expected this? I’m not saying you deserve it, but you should know how IMC treats these things by now… so… woe unto you. The lesson here is: If there’s a very obvious problem that can be taken advantage of, don’t take advantage of it.

A few people abused the Cannabis event; Practonium box and nothing happened. 99% of the server, because someone from the GAME TEAM/STAFF messed up, farmed items in almost every map get banned 4-7 days? WTF. This is clearly social clamor + “dont know what to do”+ “it’s the weekend, imma ban everyone and do my stuff” from their part. Those complaining and asking for “justice”( oii?!) probably were away from home and couldnt play the game … Retrieve the items and unblock the players. I’ll say it again: the people play the game!

Breh, you know very little or are acting ignorant to fool people into feeling sowwy for you. Bugs happen in all kinds of games, now Taking advantage of that is a choice which you made.
Anybody that ran to farm rare to obtain items knew about the bug, dont be all like i hunt those bracelet every day for 2 hours at this time, cuz breh they can see that on the logs.

Really?! Someone needs to learn some interpretation. Relax, ill spell it out for you: Im not sorry for what ALMOST EVERYONE did, nor am i acting ignorant. Simply, the punishment is completely unecessary. If you dont recall, they have made a MAINT to fix the DPK problem, and it transformed into another worse. They took actions hours late, lol. See the above link, came out way after, people openly said in the forum that there was a bug about the drop rates. Encouraging people to take advantage of it.
Yes people are all acting dumb on purpose, they be coming out saying you got 2 bracelet in 10min and that was normal just cuz the news said so. Since a few hours later on the same day another one said there was a bug. I wonder who is not reading the forum news.
