Need some opinions on my DRG build

I’m running the typical Swordsman -> Pelasta -> Hoplite -> Hoplite c2 -> Hoplite c3 -> Doppel -> Dragoon build.

But I’m considering going Corsair c1 instead of Hoplite c3 on my way to Doppel -> Dragoon.

Reasons why I’m considering.
Hook utility in PvP, making this a sort of hybrid pve/pvp build.
Sort of the same reasoning with Dust Devil.
Jolly Roger for another group perc

I grabbed Pelasta C1 for the offtankability and I’m wondering as well if people will like Jolly Roger as well when it comes to grouping 200+.

Or is it not worth sacrificing the higher damage I would get from Hoplite C3? I know that Spear Throw is an excellent rotation filler when used in melee range. Plus the higher damage boss busters Stabbing/Pierce.

I know where Swordsmen stand right now in terms of end game damage. They need a buff. Will my leaning towards more utility with Corsair be a smart choice? Or will I end up gimping myself in the long run when IMC finally brings over the balances we see in kTOS right now?

It essentially comes down to Dopple vs Hoplite c3. I’d argue Hoplite c3 is more useful for PvE due to 10% more block rate since swordsman is not valued for their damage after all. For PvP Hoplite c3 is gonna be more useful due to having a spammable ranged attack that can bind giving you the opportunity to use iron hook. Cyclone is cool AFTER you land the hook, but the problem is landing the hook in the first place.

Well… Cyclone is good pve/pvp… Haven’t tried corsair… But u should go with ur own liking. Both consider viable

Well I really do want to have cyclone. I suppose if we throw out the idea of pvp then it comes down to the usefulness of jolly roger.
