Need some guidance about monk stats distribution

Hi there , iv been playing my cleric class to become a monk, so far iv been pathing cleric 1 , and priest 3 but im somewhat confused about stats because some people say go str and others says go dex… so iv choosen take a little str and con at the start then go full dex.

My current level is 90 iirc and my stats ditribution looks like this 50 levels into str , 20 levels into con and 20 levels into dex and from this point ill put everything else into dex.

So i wanna know if my choice to distribute stats is right or should i remake the character?

Thank u very much in advance.

Anyone? i would be glad to read some advices since iv frozen my stats since 20 levels ago already.

depends on what you want. full dex, a mix of str and dex and full str are all viable stats build. just depends on your preference. although they say dex build will have a hard time vs boss, cause of their high resistance

Thanks you very much, to be honest i was about to throw myself from a bridge because that would be the third time i erase my cleric…

Feels so good to know that i dont hav to remake.

i went with full str with 50 con but at around lvl 200 i noticed that i’m missing a bit too much so i’m starting to pump up my dex which is currently at 45.

apparently the sweet spot for “full” str builds is around 80 dex and 50-60con. some have argued to pump con up to around 80-90 because the damage from str is negligible at those levels and you would benefit more from a bigger hp pool since high level monsters love to 1hko.

up to you really.

if you ever decide to go dex monstrance will be your friend. it doesnt just add 30% dex but way more because it also include bonuses.

so my monk got 140 dex after i use monstrance i end up with 200 dex.

I went with 3-2 STR DEX

right now I have 180 STR and 180 Dex, by 280 I’m planning to have around almost 300 STR (with gears included) and 200 DEX and the rest at CON

and then add more Crit rate from gears and gems

my reason - Cleric classes have poor weapon choices, and Monk Class have low skill-base damage scaling per level. so I’m drawing more damage power from critical hit

many argue that 200 Crit rate is enough to give yu around 50% crit chance on most monster but that is reduced to around 10-20% on boss monsters

300-360 Crit rate would give almost 80% crit chance on ordinary mosnters and 50% Chance on Boss type monsters

Right now I’m dealing and average of 2.5k+ to 4k+ damage on crit depending on monster type - lowest damage on leather and Highest on plate type since I’m using Suncus Maul
