Need some clarification on XP

There’s a lot of outdated info on the internet and I’d like some clarification on a few things.

1, Is there a XP penalty from killing higher level mobs? There used to be one, but people say it’s been removed. Need confirmation on this one.
2, lower lvl mob penalty is at 5 or 10 lvls?
3, teammates penalty - some say you get reduced XP from teammates 10 levels higher or lower than you. Some say 20 levels. Who’s right?

Within 4 levels you will gain 100% exp. Anything more is a decrease of 5% per level difference. There is no bonus for killing monsters a higher level than you.

you sure? cuz i hear from a pretty credible source that they removed the cap

link of an official patch note or it did not happen

That is false, the effective range is 5 lvls back and forward, everything else gets less exp at rate 5 % per level.
As a rule of thumb, you should not be under-leveled more than 2 levels when you’re entering a new area.

The exp isn’t really the problem, it’s the mob density.
A player cannot even agro more than 5 mobs,combined with lag this makes the grind unbearable at least as a melee.
Mobs do not aggro as intended, you have to kill mobs 1 by 1 , plus some areas aren’t well populated .

Or maybe exp is the problem and I’ve stopped actually believing in any form of fair play on IMC part completely. In result I discard that part of argument by defualt.

It is 5 levels below so start from 6 levels you would get less exp;

There was never a penalty for killing higher level mobs.

Exp is shared equally between party, so if you have a person in your party that is 6 levels higher than the mob the entire party would only get 95% instead of 100%.
