Need opinions on my Swordsman build

Se here’s the deal, even though I adore tanks I decided to try something different in this Beta. Do you think this DPS - support - moneymaking - something build would do? :joy: I thought of ranking like this :
Swordsman -> Highlander x3 -> Squire -> Doppelsoldner (or Squire x2 :neutral_face: )

I love my Highlander so much, was able to slice my way through 60lvls without much problem, but I’m not really sure of interupting that full DPS build for the ability to open squire shops even though they’d be soooooooo useful for grinding :unamused:

So, any opinion and advice is wanted and usefull. Gimme all you’ve got!

Well, if you’re going to go Squire, you will want to go Squire C2 since C1 will always be ignored if a C2 is near by.

With that in mind, you may or may not want to continue down that path.

I’ll second that if you go Squire c1, then go Squire c2. The camp and food buff looks really nice, and that stuff matters because the squire needs to be there in person, bringing value to the player. Equipment repair and maintenance can be done in town, so c1 isn’t as valuable.

However, a DPS that can also repair stuff on the fly isnt bad, and Arrest is an OP skill in parties, so if you really wanna get Doppel instead of Squire c2 then you won’t be screwing yourself over.

How is the food buff anyway? I was under the assumption that the Weapon/armor buffs are more important. Since you’d need the base camp to get the food, and then there is arrest…

Hm…This is trickier than I thought.

Squire C1 would be worthless if you’re not going to get C2. Since everyone will ignore you if there is a C2 somewhere else on the same map that gives better benefits, plus it’s utility skills would be a higher level as well.

Plus, only having Squire C1 will just be a hindrance to yourself since you’ll mainly specialize in offense, and you’ll probably find yourself not using Squire C1 as much as you’d think.

Oh, and a lot of Squire’s things have long cool downs, so it’s only worth getting C2 to make the skill worth using for how long it’s cool down is.

Yea, you guys are right about getting the C2 on Squire, that camp thing looks pretty op and very usefull for high lvl parties/dungeons. Been doing some research and the food buffs seem awesome. This is what I was able to find :

Food Table
Squire Circle 2
Prepare a food table where the Squire can cook and serve food, Party members can eat this food for various Buffs.
The food table can only be built next to the base camp.
If the base camp is removed the food table will also be removed.
Known foods:
Sandwich: SP increases by 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% 3) for 30 minutes. 4)
Salad: HP increases by by 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% 5) for 30 minutes. 6)
Soup: SP recovery time decreases by 1/2/3/4/5 seconds 7) for 30 minutes. 8)
Yogurt: HP recovery time decreases by 1/2/3/4/5 seconds 9) for 30 minutes. 10)

That SP regen is awesome IMO, specially for the Wizards.
After some thinking I agree that going Doppel would be kinda useless since Highlander C3 is in my opinion pretty op by itself, and taking only Squire C1 for repairing my stuff while grinding is just kinda stupid…and what @OmegaDivider and @Takeo said, it’d be useless while there are C2 Squires around with better benefits…
