Need opinion for my Full Support build

Hello. I am a returning player, but since there’s so many changes and new metas, i need some help to re-create my character’s classes. I once go with Cleric-Priest-Krivis for Dainos but since Daino already changed now, i consider another class to fit my play style.

Here is my build : https://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/?reference=h89g028cov

The condition and what i would like to ask is :
1. I don’t mind a class without any attack skills. Since i usually play as a full support, i really enjoy act as an active healer and buffer. So no attack skill means more support skills and i’ll just use the time for buffing/healing.

  1. Since i am new on Dievdirby, should i spend my points on Carve Attack? or would it be convenient to just spend the 2 points to warp statues and just buy the material?

  2. Is Stone skin really necessary now?

  3. I need a suggestion for my further rank. I am thinking about going with PD (Healing factor and Fumigate) and Kabbalist (Ein Sof). But other than that i don’t know what skills to take. Any suggestion?

  4. Any suggestion including changing classes and skills are appreciated ^^

Is that an old build? It screams 2016.

If your previous character has a build like this, it’s time to update your build.

I saw your thread about Indonesian TOS. I won’t comment on that, but I suggest you create a new build.

With power creep™ happening with rank 10, you don’t need more than Cleric 2 Priest 2 to call yourselves a support. In fact you should have a few DPS skills in your arsenal to help clear up contents.

Very extreme support (anything Cleric 3 Priest 3) is unnecessary outside current raid (Velcoffer). Then again, it’s because people just want an easy life and force their preference on you.

Edit:

Be greedy, don’t be 100% support.

  1. You might not mind such a build, but building while avoiding dmg entirely means you end up with a sub-optimal build in this game. Both due to party limits + dps checks and that most ranks have some dps you can grab with no loss of healing.
There are some exceptions to that, like randy said the velcoffer raid, and even in those situations if an int based cleric can keep the party alive that’s going to be the better option.

  2. Carve Attack can keep you filled up on wood so you won’t suddenly run out materials for your support skills mid fight, so it can be quite useful. But always grab 1 in teleport.

  3. Nope, it got nerfed heavily. It’s now just a luxury.

  4. Work towards a premade build instead imo, or just do w/e and grab a reset later on.

  5. Generally speaking as a healer role you want at least priest1 for res, but priest2 for revive is heavily recommended. After that, you just slot in healing, dmg and dmg prevention to your liking.
In terms of Healing, Tree of Sephiroth (Kabba3), Chortasmata(Druid1-3), Aukuras(Krivis1-3), and Heal/Mass Heal stand out. (Cleric3 now also boosts aukuras/heal/mass heal by 30% and has a heal over time attribute.)

Some heal focus examples:

  • [full Spr or full Con]Cleric3 | Priest3 | Kabbalist3 | Dievdirby1 Is the default full healer, though it can be overkill in that regard rather easily.
  • [Int] Cleric2 | Priest2 | Dievdirby1 | Druid2 | Kabbalist3 as a hybrid dmg/healing build, not the best at either but has better dmg prevention.
  • A Miko/Tao1 variant could also work, but it’s even more niche as it only works on melee dps teams. Only do this if you have a fixed team that can benefit from it.
-A paladin3 Sanctuary build is also tempting, as sanctuary is one of the better dmg boosters atm. Two issues with that though, I got no idea how to build it atm and more importantly it’s incredibly costly and only works well once you have maxed out your defensive gear. (aka if you’re new, this is out of your range for a while.)

Otherwise just go cleric dps with the bare essentials like randy said. There’s a ton of options in that regard.

Gonna have to agree with Randy and Wurmheart here. Being a dedicated support is one thing but you’re overdoing it with that build. Having no DPS skills will make you a drag on teams with lower damage, which is likely to be where your support abilities will see the most use.

I can’t theorycraft a build to suggest right this minute but I’ll come up with something and post it here later.

Noted, thanks ! I get Priest 3 to get Bless lv 15 and Mas Heal lv 10. What do you think about that?

Thanks! I am considering some DMG skills now. If i am going to get Kabbalist, do u think PD’s Healing Factor still needed? I heard HF is really OP (back then). Is it still became a thing now?

Thanks for your suggestion. I consider to be PD because i heard it has some good DMG skills. But the fact is Incineration only works on debuff-ed monster. I don’t know if it’s a good idea for me since i don’t have any debuff area skills… :frowning:

PD does have good damage potential for a support class. The key to it is that it’s designed to be self-sustaining in terms of debuffs. Black Death Steam + Pandemic lets you keep poison (Which counts as a debuff) running on multiple mobs so you’ll have plenty of targets for Incineration.

That being said, you might want to try something like Cleric3 -> Diev3 -> Miko -> Kabba3. You won’t be able to rez without Priest but the combination of Cleric3 and Kabba3 will give you plenty of healing output so you really shouldn’t need to. Your damage will primarily come from Diev’s owl statues so it’s basically a fortress playstyle. Setup your statues and let them do their thing while you concentrate on healing/buffing/cleansing your teammates.

You either become a Kabbalist or Plague Doctor. There is no in between. I think PD will make up for the loss of DPS in your build. Getting Kabba in an already support-heavy build is redundant. Healing Factor is OP but, like, you have more than enough healing anyway. We’re here for Black Death Steam and Incineration.

If you ever get Priest, I suggest maxing Mass Heal, Resurrection, and Revive. Buffing skills are obsolete with Pardoners taking the role of main buffers. Try to get maxed Exorcism just for fun.

Overall, good luck. Don’t be support heavy. Go with the bare minimum just as all these awesome revelators said. Cleric 2 Priest 2 will always gets you a slot in everyone’s party.

New player here

I was thinking to build a healer to play together with a friend. Since I don’t have any good equips I’m looking for every skill that can heal.
Cleric2>Krivis2>Prist2>Druid2>Kabba2
Think it will work in Challenge Mode, Raid, and Velcofer?

Cleric 2 Priest 2 is enough to be a support. Everything else is optional. However I believe you should get Kabba 3. Reduce Krivis 2 to 1.

Krivis 2 isn’t necessary. Chortasmata is enough in CM. Better to get kabba 3 for tree of sephiroth and double ein sof and diev 1 for laima.

thanks for the input

Krivis is really a DPS/Buff class. Aukuras does apply a HoT but it’s unnecessary for a support build.

As Randy said, Cleric2 -> Priest2 will be enough for most content. If you’re planning to do raids, Kabba3 definitely doesn’t hurt but the thing to remember is that your support skills will get the most use in groups with low to middling gear. As your gear and that of your teammates improves, having all those heals in lieu of DPS will end up being a drag. I’d really recommend more of a hybrid setup with focus on support as opposed to just grabbing a bunch of redundant healing skills.
