I still can’t find the right build that I really want for PVE type Hoplite, need your help guys.
I was building STR2/1CON/1DEX but after some tests im changing to STR1/1CON/2DEX.
With a good weapon (5+ and crit gems), str becomes a little useless because when finestra buffs is active and having a good amount of dex i can melt any boss/mob with tons of crits.
Later in the end game I will put some str only to increase my crit attack.
I had the same problem with my sword sword hoplite. I know have a Sword Highlander Hoplite full dext and with a 2 handed sword, both pierce and Stabbing crit for insane damage. I cant use the other skills though, but the +1 AoE from the sword is nice when using Stabbing for AoE. Also, Stabbing ends up doing almost as much as Catar Stroke if i crit half the time.
Thanks bro… I’m still on the experimental stage choosing what kind of hoplite I’ll make…
ur correct… probably gonna make a STR/DEX build a little bit of CON for def…
do u know what stat does increases our blocking stat?
wow… thank you also bro. maybe it is better if we stick to the weapon that our job usually ask for… but I think it’s okay to experiment hehe
It is, but even with finestra, i find that i do more damage with the 2 handed sword.
CON increase your block.
I dont know your build but im SwrodC1>Pelstalta C1>Hoplite C2 and im really satisfied with the block rate provenient of the pelstalta attributes, maybe if i was soloing i would rather improve only DEX>STR (i feel that evasion gives more survivability than CON in the early levels) and add some points in CON only in the late late game.
In fact im investing some points in CON because im duoing with a Cryo-Linker friend and sometimes when i don`t have enough mana i dont need to do anything, only provoke and keep blocking while my friend do the dirty job.
With oplite C2 you do not need so much dex, investing 10 points in finestra meens you can keep it up all the time and it gives you a nice ammount of crit rate. I think i will go STR 4 CON1 DEX 1 for the critical damage improvement from the STR. this is my build:
