Need help: Squire build after patch

I plan to make a Squire for my other char but still not sure which path to take. Since the new patch was up all the people said Squire should go for tank and I don’t like the tank role so I think I will make a dps Squire.

So which path should I go? The build in my mind are

Sw 1 > Pel 1 > Hop 2 > Squire 3 > [not sure but maybe Dragoon] or
Sw 1 > Pel 3 > Squire 3 > Shinobi or
Sw 1 > High 3 > Squire 3 > [still not sure what to take]

For skill build I will take Repair 1 and max both Camp and Table. I will have enough skill points to max Weapon or Armor Maintenance but after the patch are both skill still be of use? I walk around and always see only Repair shop and I’m afraid that my Squire will be only Camp bot.

I think squire is literally the class with the least damage. Squire is not a tank either, its exclusively a shop class/base camp slave. Only recommended for an alt.

For the r2-4, just go with whatever lets you level the quickest.

I plan on leveling to higher level so I can camp at high level map for my othet char. I think leveling is not the problem but I want a build that let me be of use after Squire 3

Why Lancer? Lancer skills need two-handed spear which I think will not go well with Hop.

Only synchro thrusting cant be used with 2 handed spears. The remaining skill set for the hoplite tree is compatible.
Spear lunge-> Crush-> Quintain is a good combo you can rely for clearing bosses for your Saaulus runs

Sw1 Pel1 Hop2 Squire3 Murm - Spear Lunge + stronger Synchro Thrusting
Sw1 Pel1 Hop1 Rod1 Squire3 Murm - more utility and skills to spam

Personally, the 1st one is my favorite because Lunge + Synchro combo with max Cassis Hoplite attribute dishes out insane burst damage.

Oh I didn’t see that Finestra can be used with two-handed spear.

What about different between Lancer and Dragoon? I know that Dragoon got nerfed after the patch. But I don’t have much information about these two classes.

To tell the truth, I don’t like the concept of Mur. I hate the helm. It’s so ugly that I don’t want to play it T_T

Dragoon’s main appeal is Dethrone and Serpentine debuff which DragoonC1 does not posses, Highlander Lancer is your best bet for a squire that can damage.

Highlander is better than Hoplite?

Hoplite>Lancer = burst damage
Highlander >Lancer=sustained damage

Is sw3-barb-sq3-shinobi no longer a thing?
